Flywheel output should be higher than WHP because it takes out the lost of power in the transmission phase. Dyno machines also will give you different figures like DynoDynamics read 13% less than Dynojet. And hud dyno and rolling dyno also gives you different readings but I prefer a rolling dyno since it takes in the rolling resistance like in actual when you are driving on the road.
WHP is always lower than EHP. Usually the brochures from manufacturing is showing the engine power rather than the WHP because I've came across a lot of Vios which Toyota rated 100+ but on dyno some are showing 90+ or some 89WHP only.
Also the types of transmission will also determined how much % of lost of power. AT tends to lost more than MT given the same engine output.
So for mengsuan, if you going for turbo project by sure to stick to the same dyno because then only it will give you accurate improvements and readings. I remember dynoed a Evo8 MR on 1 shop it reads 650hp but on another shop 620 only.
But I have to say that the Firestorm really do work after testing it.
