bigger wheel = increase turning radius
*
it's 195 same size as my c drive though. then again i only really notice the turning radius issue since i've stiffen the car, running on lowered springs, sports short stroke absorbers, 15" rims etc.

somewhere down the line things went very sour when i do u-turns at traffic lights.

kenjilew, this is what I mentioned during TT

everything in that car sounds damn harsh and raw.

to put in perspective, it's kinda like the old 86 compared to today's brz/ft or gt86.
i'm definitely more towards the more "controlled" modern 86 hehe.

kinda why i'm paying through my nose for brake pads and even for cap ayam exhaust standards - i just want my car to be as quiet as possible lol.

I'm your opposite. For me, I prefer raw, less electronic aids, and demands more from the driver. I have driven the old 86 and the new GT86. No doubt the new GT86 is very luxury and all very easy to drive but I get more excited when I'm behind the wheel on the old 86. I still remember the days gripping my hands tightly and constantly making steering adjustment behind the wheels of a 180SX rated at 400hp. No drivers aid at all, no traction control and stuff. The car is just screaming at you to focus...1 wrong move and its bye bye.

These days, with modern technologies which is good because more people can enjoy the cars easily and safely but it somehow takes out the excitement and rush. Quaz, yourself for example, your Iswara have no ABS and I strongly believe because without this your braking skill will surely be more than the average drivers with ABS.
*
actually less electronic aid is fine for me; Why else i'm looking at the subaru so much more than the evo.
Although, i have a strong fascination of the GTR as well. it's kinda more of a "end result" thing - if it works to my liking, why the hell not.

which in that regards, i'm particularly referring to mainly the NVH - i want good brakes however it has to be quiet and produce minimal to no dust. yeah those things exist, at a damn hefty price rofl.
like i've mentioned before, i'm pretty much the ONLY guy enjoying my music in the track. and yes it was hella fun when inspirational music was playing and i'm just driving to my heart's content biggrin.gif

but yea, i guess you're right in that regards too. because i've wheel locked/spun out/crashed into dividers etc many a times (although i somehow escaped all of those incidents without any physical harm to myself :sweat) and just like many competent human beings more so those with a passion towards the things they enjoy - they learn.

The truth is, every car has its sweetspot. The questions are, where? How? What? Which way to make it dance? Trust me, given a dugong J MT, I can make it scream like a b**** yelling More More whistling.gif

That's not the entire story. I've begun to learn accepting the fact that the good old days has passed. Thanks to ericmaxman, the f***er literally gave me a huge slap on my face when I complaining about FC sohigh in GaGa, whilst throttle lagged like pressing the gas pedal the engine from Pluto answer "Oh Ya?!" Then back to our moon to hear the exhaust sound "Blehhh". Trust me, the feeling of spending 28k on some not satisfying car indeed a ball sucking anus bleeding experience, compare to 4G13 running on 4 toto + N1 straight flow is heaven and hell.
*
yeap fully agree. and at the same page, everyone has their preferences of sweet spots biggrin.gif

and as you said, pretty much why i'm holding back on buying "cheaper" modern cars. there is just NOTHING that can satisfy me unfortunately sad.gif

atm looking at the inspira manual, looks like it can be something that could fit my needs until i can somehow drag my pay to about 10k or so to finally be able to "qualify" properly to own an impreza XD

besides, it's bout time i practice driving a manual car as second nature? would look ugly stalling an impreza sad.gif
and that day everything was "ok" because we're taking it real easy, and of course as i said, i've been practicing/playing around with the kancil after all. else'd we'd be having awkward moments of stalling your favorite car sweat.gif

who knows what'll happen in this 1-2 years time though. inspira would actually be ok as i've funded and almost finish financing a nissan sentra at just about the same price. but eh maybe there's new offering that could caught my fancy. i'm pretty much treading into unknown territory with manual cars anyways heh.

SS EO use for 10k  shakehead.gif
*
provided you use good SS EO, and you sendiri change oil filter at 5k km (sc sure won't know, and this one defo can DIY so long you got a car jack)

any EO requiring top up (mostly loss from replacing the oil filter), you top up full synthetic.

I still do not think dragging SS EO past 5k is good idea n practice shakehead.gif
*
depends on your original manufacturer (in this case proton) and the EO quality.

most SS base stocks can EASILY deal with 10-20k km; It's additive package however couldn't. (and the carbon build up especially when it comes to older engines, 4g15/campro are pretty damn old lol)
so when it comes to just lubricating your engine, just 5k km won't kill your engine, even if it does it'll be a matter after 100-200k km/5-10 years.
but of course, if you have lead foot and tend to drive like a rabid dog, of course it'll be sluggish as f*** and it's still best to go with 5k km for majority of SS EO.

it's kinda how certain folks use motul 300v and OCI at 5k km (neh that damn awesome evo X driver forumer)
