Why Coated Optics and not Camo? Actually why are not picking camo after your BiA?

Obj really has hax camo. Abuse it.

I dont' get spotted that much. My clan currently run on meds. Optics helps on long range sniping. Camo for cover isn't really that useful for 268, the turret traverse's miniscule.
I know about the camo, but frankly it didn't helped me that much on crew level.

On equipment
I thought camo net's bonus only applies after you stay 3 seconds static and resets every time your tank moves?
For optics, I took it so I can look further, I mean, there are times where I see the enemy on the map but unable to snipe them since I can't see the tank yet. I'm assuming optics help me on seeing these tank at slightly better range.

On crew perks
This is actually my third day running this. Previously I was running camo after BiA, but decided to go back to repair after getting tracked non stop at the point of being ridiculous at one time. I'm trying to see whether to go back to camo or otherwise.

I'm not very sure on how camo works exactly, but having it resetting every time I move sorta makes me uncomfortable.
The last point is taken though.
