How else do you think it gets the 171 pen that comes standard with the 76mm, when all other American tanks get 128pen with AP?

Tier X mediums generally also use APCR for their standard silver round.

that reload, that armor, that aim time, full clip can do >1500 dmg

I don't know, I don't really feel it OP, as mobility pretty much is like a heavy should.
Unlike the mobility of the AMX 50B. The only thing crazy about it is the 2.XX sec between shells compared to the 50Bs 2.50 sec.
A full second makes a huge difference. And for goodness sakes don't shoot it's frontal hull. Just shoot the damn turret lol.

The T54E1 on the other hand, great but, not OP.

T54e1 can mostly kill tier 8 heavy in 1 clip

basically it trade about <400hp for 1.6k dmg

also pair it with Deadeye skill it will damage a lot of modules

I'm just sad that a Lorr 40t will mostly die a miserable death if it meets a T54E1 head on. The latter can empty its clip faster, and retreat before the Lorr could empty its clip. The difference between each round in a clip is significant; it's the difference between putting two into a tank that poked out, and only one.

Apcr is standard for t71

Play it like a better armed T-43?

It plays a lot more like a high tier medium compared to the Type 58/T-34-85. Can't really go head-to-head with heavies anymore.

EDIT: Post up a replay. It'll probably highlight your playstyle better. (Not your best game. One considered average, so that we can look at the way you handle the tank.)

Chinese T-34-1 are one of worst medium in game
That final gun 100mm Gun aim time was worst and accuracy also bad plus the reload time also bad

A medium tank can't flank with that Gun.
