QUOTE(Grif @ Sep 30 2013, 03:55 PM) Legal yes. But you're probably better off memorising them anyway. I only just started memorising them about 1 month back, didn't even bother to find out about my td's camo value till about the same time back. LOL, I'm as casual as they come.(Plus, they're ugly as heck. They're called clownskins for a reason.) To be honest, you can do without mods. I played nearly 10k battles and still haven't used a single apart from XVM briefly. |

QUOTE(Grif @ Oct 24 2013, 11:59 AM) Why Coated Optics and not Camo? Actually why are not picking camo after your BiA? I dont' get spotted that much. My clan currently run on meds. Optics helps on long range sniping. Camo for cover isn't really that useful for 268, the turret traverse's miniscule.Obj really has hax camo. Abuse it. I know about the camo, but frankly it didn't helped me that much on crew level. |

QUOTE(Grif @ Oct 24 2013, 12:17 PM) That explains a lot. On equipment Obj 268 for Clan War is going to be very different from Obj 268 for pubs. Camo does make a lot of difference, at least in pubs, in the sense you can sit in the bush 200m away firing non-stop without being spotted. (I seen it done too many times.) Gun traverse is not a big issue, since all your camo values will apply even if you're moving. Optics is of limited use, since meds will see you long before you see them, even with optics. Don't forget, as a TD, you're supposed to rely on teammates to spot in any case, and spotting them yourselves shouldn't be the first option. (The difference between seeing an enemy at 430m, and being spotted at 300m, or seeing enemies at 380m, and being spotted 200m out.) I thought camo net's bonus only applies after you stay 3 seconds static and resets every time your tank moves? For optics, I took it so I can look further, I mean, there are times where I see the enemy on the map but unable to snipe them since I can't see the tank yet. I'm assuming optics help me on seeing these tank at slightly better range. On crew perks This is actually my third day running this. Previously I was running camo after BiA, but decided to go back to repair after getting tracked non stop at the point of being ridiculous at one time. I'm trying to see whether to go back to camo or otherwise. I'm not very sure on how camo works exactly, but having it resetting every time I move sorta makes me uncomfortable. The last point is taken though. |

QUOTE(fact3 @ Mar 19 2014, 02:38 AM) Hello guys, If you've researched everything on a tank, that tank could be your training tank.New player with only 2k+ game now. Just casual player. Want to ask opinion of getting premium tank for crew trainer; Is it worth it? None of my crew got 1st skill on them yet. Highest tier now tier 6 Amx12t Premium tank's stats are usually less than optimal compared to same tiered max researched tanks. It's there for credit grind. That's about all it is. |

QUOTE(Grif @ Mar 22 2014, 01:06 AM) Not entirely true. Some premium tanks are actually superior in some way to normal tanks due to their limited matchmaking. (KV-220, Church III, IS-6.) Hmm, I've IS6 and IS3, I would say apart from armor side, IS3 pretty much is better. Not sure on 220 and C3 though, getting 220 soon~! WOOT! |

QUOTE(fact3 @ Mar 23 2014, 09:24 AM) hmm so you actually mean that you swap around your crew in the tanks and play them in red without re-training them? Tigers are TDs with turrets. Play them like one and you're scary.and 700 battles per tank is really a lot man, weekly i could only play 4-5 hours. i feel you man on the Tiger although i dont have them, really could just take snap shot at them somewhere and pierce. meet them as low tier tank i just switch to HE and detrack them, they just die really fast. my highest german tank is pzIII/IV and hetzer; the pz just sucks elited it and just waiting discount on next vk to move on but really love the hetzer! ace it and lots of top gun, keep on derpin'. cant decide should i keep the hetzer or the u.s. m8a1. dunno about batchat but my current amx got really bad gun depression and acceleration. on countless time when im going for flanking kill on hilly/bumpy terrain i got "WTF" moment when my depression just deny me the shot, forcing me to embarrassingly retreat to my spotting role im pretty much tempted by tank description like on churchill III "generates lots of xp", really? but yeah i did compare those premium tank with same tier tank, they really dont have many advantages but in contra will have 1 abysmal weakness; 0 armor, too slow, glaring weakspot. most advantages are on preferential matchmaking which means bullying the low tier As for premium tank xp gain, no, they gain them in a normal rate as of any tanks. |

Am I the only one that's not exactly overwhelmed by the whole patch?
In fact it felt a bit underwhelming. I max'ed out everything and it looked.. I don't know.. normal? Maybe I'm blind or something. |

QUOTE(PedangGila @ Apr 17 2014, 10:07 PM) WHoa whoa. The new graphic engine just bad it brings my fps down below 30fps. Looks like Im gonna need a new GPU. Or go SLI. I can see more details on tanks, the arty shell explosion really wreck my fps unlike before. HD7850 user here. Have everything max'ed out, no fps drop, 65~70 constant.Anyone here use AMD 280x? I read that somewhere AMD is not friendly with this game. Maybe yes, maybe not. My worse nightmare: My motherboard don't support SLI. |

QUOTE(PedangGila @ Apr 17 2014, 10:42 PM) Now that's weird. Suppose my gpu 650 ti boost isnt very far from 7850. With everything max it hardly reach 60fps. Ok I need input on 280x user. I'm aiming for that. Weird, I think I found your problem. I was on my 19" monitor, forgot to take that into account.I changed to my 22" and it dropped to 50~60. |

On the lag problem, apparently 9.1 is fixing it.
Not sure on how much though. |
