no need to occupy your minds with these thoughts, yet

get the most of your current bike first, go on and explore its capabilities and in the same time figure out your riding style, hone your skills to handle your bike well up to the point that riding it feels like a 2nd nature. look around for riding tips (got lots of useful videos in YouTube) as additional knowledge, and adapt that to the daily traffic condition in Malaysia.

you yourself constantly mentioned on how you lack confidence to ride in KL traffic, and not to mention haven't getting used with all the routes here. I would suggest you get yourself over with these first, before ever think of upgrading. have fun with your current bike, and explore around.
