I also wonder why they never named it Preve hatch, or Preve sports back or something. Changed to some brand that sounds like a loaf of bread or some canned product. It even could be a sub brand of some engine oil or petrol. Suprimak kau.

VW also name their Sedan as Jetta & Hatch as Golf,  why nobody ask them to name it Golf Sedan or Jetta Hatchback ?
Peugeot also name their sedan as 207 & hatch as 206 so why not 206 sedan.
Toyota also name their Sedan as Vios & hatch as Yaris, why not Vios Hatchback ?
Hyundai also i30 & Elantra, why not Elantra hatchback or i30 sedan, i40 & Sonata, why not i40 sedan or Sonata wagon.

Pug used numbers as an upgrade. Thats ok because most of the cars looks the same.
Golf and Jetta looks different. Not just the amount of doors. Keypoint looks very different.
Yaris also looks different from Vios.
Hyundai Elantra and i series different looks also.

And to make a point. None of your mentioned cars have 100% similar look in the front with each of the other supposedly twin model. Here the Preve looks 100% same up front. Can't tell the difference. By the time look at the side 3/4 to the back then it starts to look different. By the time hatred already set in. U get me? Key point total difference. Even though they may share same interior and platform. Its should be different. Or they could name it Preve-H. But no, its must be something overboard. Typical uncle thinking. No wonder we are lagging behind. rolleyes.gif
