YTL Communications’ YES 4G WiMAX is bundled with the car, in the form of a free 1-year subscription of its service, said to be worth RM1,120. If so, it will be on the Super 68 plan with a 4 GB (currently 5 GB) data quota per month.

So why would you said not free 1 year ?

So anything above 5k RPM is negative return then?

In Preve the turbo comes in 2k-4k, and 138 hp at 5k RPM.

Looks like people will need to change their driving style from normal car, like Satria, high HP, at high RPM to cool and calm.

Can this be used for Suprima as well?

Yes. too much exhaust gas in the turbo result in negative return. 'exhaust backpressure' .
u love to rev high, buy 911, rev up to 8k rpm everyday time every day no problem.

Wrong.

The new Lambo Sesto Elemento is only 999kg kerb weight, even lighter than a Vios.
Does that make it more floaty than a Vios?  blush.gif

Shedding weight is one of the things you can do to car that makes it even better than it already is.
(Provided safety was not compromised)

Lambo Sesto Elemento carbon fiber rear wing generates three times the downforce of the Gallardo. It wont float bcos of the downforce. And it is not optimum to drive up to 200km/h to generate such high downforce on road. A F1 car floats( understeer / oversteer ) more then a vios when cornering with 70km/h. But It can corner up to 200km/h and the car still stick to the ground, all bcos of aerodynamic downforce. You cannot compare a track car with daily car ...........

don't have to try and complicate things further.

I was merely trying to refute his point of heavy = more stable

Me too. I was just showing out the point of heavy = more stable is true. Maybe you can try sit in a 2.5 ton RR or a 10 ton lorry and feel it yourself. Or maybe u can go check back high school physics textbook. Why dont u use a 850kg viva compare to vios ? Instead of using lambo 6th element , which is made of carbon fiber and plastic that cost 2mil pound ? You can reduce weight, but it is not practical and economical. Car makers now are trying very hard to reduce weight with the use of alluminium engine block, carbon fiber is still a long long way for normal daily car. Even a bicycle that is made of carbon fiber cost RM 10k.

Just wonder how the polymer based cars like Saturn and POntiacs are made to be reasonably priced?
*
Too bad. both Pontiacs and Saturn were shut down by GM in 2010 due to poor sales.

hahaha, yeah, but they last for a long time, since 90s

Bcos their parent company, GM was founded almost 100 years ago at 1908, and US is a huge market for vehicle. But now, with cheap and reliable japanese car coming into US, resulted in those sub brands slowly phased out due to poor sales..

which bring me to this point, why on earth proton need to make cars that can take corner at 130km/hr?

They should focus more on what consumer want these days;

cheap to run, maintain and less/free problem.

Heck, I can live with a saga that have max speed 150km/hr with fuel cons. of 5.5l/100 km.

we ordinary driver don't need drive fast  all the time.

So Proton please start make car lighter, if you stuck at the engine part!!!

How to make car lighter ?? alluminium body ?? carbon fiber body ?? plastic window ?? carbon ceramic brake ?? The most easy way, remove all your passenger seat , carpat ............

Did my first service today. Fixed my boot latch problem (adjust alignment) and glove box alignment.  The SC recommended the service interval at 5k instead of 10k for new cars <20k and only switch to fully synthetic (10k) after that. I followed that. What do you guys think?

FC report (full highway),
Distance: 340km
Average speed: 120km/h
Top speed: 200km/h icon_idea.gif
Average FC: 9.9L/100km
*
full tank 340km ?? if average FC 10L/100km , full tank 50 litres, should be at least 450-500 km ?
