QUOTE(facelol @ Aug 6 2013, 07:40 AM) With reference to the thread title, fat burners don't literally burn fat and whey don't literally build muscles. If they don't provide such and effect then why consume them? |

yes you can take them together.
keep this in mind though; -muscle mass is built on a caloric surplus and sufficient protein macro; -fat loss is done by depleting your glycogen levels and essentially use your fat stores as energy |

Shed fat and build muscle at the same time.. Classic example would be darklight. Definitely doesn't use fat burners, and possibly not even whey.
Theoretically for your case I'd say increase fat consumption through the consumption of free-range eggs, avocado, and cold-pressed coconut oil. Increase protein consumption through meats and free-range eggs. Drop milk, cheese, and soy products. Add whey and/or BCAA supplement if you can't keep up with protein requirements of 0.75g / lbs. For carbs, eat organic rolled oats. Be sure to include ample amounts of mixed vegetables both via eating and also juicing with the fibre retained. Have a small bowl of organic mixed fruits twice a week. And drop everything else not listed above, meaning no beverages that contain sugar, no biscuits, no cakes, no rice, no Milo, no whatever. Achievable? Yes, I'm almost fully there. Practicality for bodybuilding? Ain't to sure, will let the others comments. But one thing I can guarantee is you'll be in the best health status ever. |
