if i knew.. i would have brought all my empty aluminum cans to lay it on the road for those tankers to crush...saves me lotsa work...

anyways... car free day is not supposed to be practiced over 1 day or limited amount of time...if people want to be worried about the environment or whatever reasons behind a car free travel experience... do it on all other days instead of that 1 day...tat is what matters... not the talk or get people interested shit cause no one likes inconveniences...

it's like those earth hour things where people are encouraged to off lights and then you have this bunch of bonkers watchamacalit lighting up tons of candles all over the place and producing more carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide shit...quite the purpose defeating thing to do...

http://enochthered.wordpress.com/2008/03/3...les-and-carbon/
http://www.stubbornmule.net/2009/03/burning-candles/

moral of the story is... if you want to

prepare to sacrifice creature comfort and walk or take public transport which is already farting up bad gasses in the first place without you on it (no excuses about shitty public transport system and there is no proof that waking up 20 mins earlier will shorten your life... wats wrong with sleeping 20 mins earlier at night?)... and deal with low light conditions and bungalows on your head if you want to go green and turn on as little energy saving bulbs as you wish...

the people must act on it... not preach lar ... malaysia got a lot of NATO people  shakehead.gif

well said. notworthy.gif

ey not bad la that bike. it climbs well, i smoked one guai lo on a short climb with their super duper expensive carbon bike. tested and proven that it's not the bike but it's your stamina that matters tongue.gif any bike will do if you are super fit like vin ann!

but since it's alloy you'll notice some flex if you really push hard during spirited sprinting, not noticeable during normal effort.

with 8k, you can mix some sram red and force components or full ultegra i think.

I equipped it with FR0 so that might helps a bit in terms of the overall stiffness of the ride.

my take: go get it. you got the looks with a commendable performance. read reviews on the net to find out. some riders purposely bought the bike just to use for crit racing.

paiseh to see my name being mention above.

Im already back to square one... no more fit in cycling... just leisure cycling in RPM...

sorry.. my eyes are playing tricks on me... i saw SR01 (street racer) not SL01 (road racer)...

the SL01 at the lowest was the 2012 model clearance... i was offered it for as low as RM6.2k... i believe the SL01 should be at least on par with the E5 if not better... and if you can find the clearance RM01 (race machine)... the frame could be had for as low as RM4.8 ~ RM5k..

Red crank might be overkill unless you have too much money to spend...on the E5, you need Force because that is the lowest in hierarchy of SRAM line up that offers a BB30 crank... else, you can go FSA or S-Works crank arm as well...

and another bigger problem... pink bike is in bukit mertajam... are you in penang at least?

p/s: if you can have a hasselblad medium format in your wish list... i guess RM01 and SRAM Force 22 is not a problem for you  tongue.gif

our brother KTCY is Penang based taikor.
