i currently got 1gb of teamxtreem ddr600, in pair, can i add another pair and still overclock as high as previous pair, which is 300mhz, ddr600... or juz sell it of and buy the uccc kit...??? juz asking...

It's definitely better to go for a matched 1gb pairs. If ur aiming for 300mhz, the only chips are Samsung UCCC

not all UCCC can do 300mhz ... mostly maxed out around 280mhz like that

micron will do 300mhz

and not all board/proc can do 4 sticks 1T..
well, if u dont mind running 2T

and not all 2gb rams can do ddr600, even the expensives ones, unless its rated 4800 guaranteed

4 sticks of ram would make it hard to get high speeds beyond ddr400.

if u ask me how good is 4 stick

i hv tested on 4 stick running:
corsair black 3200 rev1.4 3338 tccd
corsair pro 3200 rev1.2 3338 tccx
gskill fc 4400 2.5448

and the feedback is, sandramark quite bad.
something that need quick responce from ram, when the l2 cache is fully in use, u feel it different from 1T and 2T.
and 4 stick is only 2T when going high freq.
this not matter with any board.
4 stick, >200mhz, 2T for sure.

but still, 4 stick giv u more benefit.
ram banyak, boleh buat ramdisk.
can play bf2 smoothly.
can run many different program

but since i am using asus board, which have 1t issue, if upgrade to 4 stick could it still run @ddr600??? or the tccd will run slower....??

Its not a promise that u can run 4 sticks at 300mhz. Its a 50/50 bet, and if u have the cash why not try it ? If youre not satisfied u can sell it and get 1gbx2 kits.

it is quite hard to reach ddr600 for 4 stick.

even the lastime opteron 146 never give me that taste.
