HTC Corporation in October 2013 released a newer version of HTC handset HTC One Max from the previous HTC one. Despite that fact that Nokia is trying to ban the sales of HTC ONE in the UK over a patent invention filed back in 1988, in Asia the HTC are doing great as the Taiwanese manufacturer is popular among mobile users in Hong Kong, Taiwan and many parts of Asia including Japan. HTC is probably targeting consumers that want bigger screens as the device is classified as a Phablet - a device that is categorized larger than a smart-phone yet smaller than a tablet.

Even the weight of the phone is 30% heavier than the HTC one, so if you are fond of holding bigger devices with one palm, you will find it comfortable but maybe too big for others depending on the size of your hands, but in Hong Kong in particular users prefer bigger screens for accessing the latest news since most websites are not yet mobile responsive.

The speakers are located on both sides of the device if held landscape, and the power button is located on the side of the device if held in portrait position.

The HTC device will be quite easy for those that have used a Smartphone with an Android OS before.
The HTC One Max comes built in with the latest version of Jelly Bean v 4.3

Android v 4.3 interface icons are bigger and colorful with the standard google applications visible example the Google calendar, Clock, phone settings and Google group icon all loaded within Jelly Bean OS.
