Thats good. Price will nosedive and we can get our hands on it for less. I dont mind snapdragon 600 as long as i can get it for rm 1400 in December. Look at  Samsung Mega. 1.7Ghz Dual core also quite steady the sales. As long as price is low.

unless the one max is priced like 1.5k / below the 2k mark then it still can be considered

I don't mind about the beats audio but why la they use S600.

If you keep touch the fingerprint scanner, you mind constantly smudging the camera lens.

S600 is a early 2013 processor. Now already almost end of 2013 lol

Snapdragon 600 is hardly old, it still runs everything smoothly. By your logic, everyone should buy a new phone every 6-month just to always have latest specs

Beats Audio is just an equalizer, that even craps out the audio when turned off, instead of just leaving it flat

Agreed. Other company's high end phones are running Snapdragon 800 (Z1, LG G2, Xperia Z Ultra, Note 3 etc.). HTC One Max is going to be launched as an last gen phone.

Unless..this is not a high end phone. The lack of aluminium unibody construction, fat body.. if its priced alongside Z Ultra & Note 3, I see no reason to buy this phone.

Not sure whether the finger print scan thingy is good or bad. At first i5s was the pioneer and now HTC penetrate to the market again only differs the scan thingy was at the back.

Talking about design, One Max design is based on One Mini and doesn't have the true unibody build like One.

Just attended the launch at Publika. Phone is indeed very snappy despite S 600 processor only. It has more features than HTC1. Will elaborate further after tests. Price is rm2499 but for today only I paid rm2099 for it. Will post more info over next few days. Phone feels slight heavier than my XZU. Back can removed for simcard n external SDCARD card
