- Old processor, still S600.

- No more Beats Audio.
- Mediocre camera - ultrapixel is failure and against with removal of OIS.
- Bad review on the finger sensor.
- Heavy & Bulky.

QUOTE(kahyeec @ Oct 15 2013, 01:52 PM) Thats good. Price will nosedive and we can get our hands on it for less. I dont mind snapdragon 600 as long as i can get it for rm 1400 in December. Look at Samsung Mega. 1.7Ghz Dual core also quite steady the sales. As long as price is low. QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Oct 15 2013, 05:02 PM) no matter what, i believe we all agree most of us would prefer the note 3 or XZU rather than this one max If it get price at RM 1.5k, then I am pretty sure it can selling great!unless the one max is priced like 1.5k / below the 2k mark then it still can be considered But... I doubt about it, sure it cost at least RM 2,099.00 and with it not on par with market processor, only S600 instead of S800, HTC just open road for R.I.P soon. Sure got people pick it up but not many. I rather go for Note 3 or Z Ultra if target high-end big screen, for cost saving, Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a great choice. I don't see any place for this HTC One Max. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Oct 15 2013, 05:25 PM |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Oct 15 2013, 05:34 PM) I don't mind about the beats audio but why la they use S600. Ya, if HTC pack with S800, they is a big chances to fight. If you keep touch the fingerprint scanner, you mind constantly smudging the camera lens. Now with only S600, sorry, think also no need even to think about it. |

QUOTE(SyathibiyMegat @ Oct 16 2013, 04:24 AM) Snapdragon 600 is hardly old, it still runs everything smoothly. By your logic, everyone should buy a new phone every 6-month just to always have latest specs Like you?!? so fancy with Moto X? Beats Audio is just an equalizer, that even craps out the audio when turned off, instead of just leaving it flat Agreeee HTC One Max spec is no longer high end enough now, it can only compete with middle range market, means it only qualify for price around RM 1.6k to RM 1.7k max. QUOTE(Jason @ Oct 16 2013, 04:14 PM) Agreed. Other company's high end phones are running Snapdragon 800 (Z1, LG G2, Xperia Z Ultra, Note 3 etc.). HTC One Max is going to be launched as an last gen phone. Ya, if only this phone is releasing earlier year, then it still a high end phone.Unless..this is not a high end phone. The lack of aluminium unibody construction, fat body.. if its priced alongside Z Ultra & Note 3, I see no reason to buy this phone. Oh, HTC Malaysia service also like crap. That puts the nail in the coffin. For now, sorry, it no longer can be high end model, if this phone is targeting at middle range, then I am pretty sure it can sales well, but if it is targeting at high end market now, really sorry, it not going to sales well. |

QUOTE(SyathibiyMegat @ Oct 16 2013, 06:33 PM) Now we're talking abt Moto X fancy and full of shit bla bla bla. Please stick to original arguments, senior memberrr. Lol. And by your logic, everything that's released at current moment needs to have current specs in it. Lol. There are so much room for improvements. That's why laptops are never too old, though the specs are not always the latest. You sir, I loled Laptop never too old? Who gonna buy outdated spec tech things with highest price where they is more better choice to pick, I believe only you. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Oct 16 2013, 06:45 PM |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Nov 21 2013, 09:16 AM) Talking about design, One Max design is based on One Mini and doesn't have the true unibody build like One. This I agree.Dunno what HTC thinking about. HTC One Max:
and dare HTC sell RM 2,499.00, HTC is really waiting for bankrupt! |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 21 2013, 09:11 PM) Just attended the launch at Publika. Phone is indeed very snappy despite S 600 processor only. It has more features than HTC1. Will elaborate further after tests. Price is rm2499 but for today only I paid rm2099 for it. Will post more info over next few days. Phone feels slight heavier than my XZU. Back can removed for simcard n external SDCARD card Congratulate to be 1st owner. Will post my impression vs XZU n Note 3 [attachmentid=3733821][attachmentid=3733822][attachmentid=3733823] If RRP is RM 2,099.00 then still quite reasonable, but not the plan RM 2,499.00 price. |

QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Jan 4 2014, 11:46 AM) I thought this phone will be a hit, but it seems like ghorst town here. This phone can't hit, it is over price with slightly outdated chipset use. S600 is yesterday and not value current price. Btw, I actually can't find any demo unit in Lowyat Plaza. Some more the Beats Audio no longer there, the camera quality is so so with missing of image stabilisation. With such price, more will look for others.
