Pictures to show the standard HTC One Max case and the HTC One Max powerflip case. The latter adds additional 1150 mAh power to the phone. Using it I can now easily have 9+ hours SOT. This unit does not have a separate charge port . You need to insert phone inside and connection is made through the 3 pin connector at the back
The unit is very slim and does not really add much bulk to the phone. Only downside is the flip cover does not close the front end completely and you can see the edges being exposed by about 1 mm

I thought this phone will be a hit, but it seems like ghorst town here.

Btw, I actually can't find any demo unit in Lowyat Plaza.

I think the main disadvantage is the pricing - official retail is RM 2499 and the cheapest one could find is around RM 2240 at lelong.com
I would say HTC makes a big mistake with such a pricing
However price aside I am very happy with the phone performance. As I don't play any games the S600 processor is more than good enough for my needs and is comparable to my previous Note 3, and Xperia Z Ultra
The phone is extremely smooth and there are NO camera problems unlike the HTC one

I'm still hunting for demo set, Would like to know the actual size and camera performance.

Or else might just get Sony Xperia Z1.

Camera wise , it's acceptable but cant be compared to Z1 . If camera is a concern , Z1 is much much better

Update on this phone battery life ( 3300 mAh). I'd say is excellent - easily can match if not better than Note 3, Xperia Z Ultra
100% of time on 3G/ WiFi on - 80% on internet related stuffs : browsing, email, RSS, Newsfeed, Facebook, tweeter - some calls, 10 SMS, 20+ whatsapp

First 7 hours phone overnight , battery drop about 2 %. At 75% battery usage, SOT hits 5.25 hours - projected to empty will be 7 hours. There was one day when I was outstation, I used the clip on powercase ( added 1150 mAh) and has hit 9+ hours SOT

This phone can't hit, it is over price with slightly outdated chipset use. S600 is yesterday and not value current price.

Some more the Beats Audio no longer there, the camera quality is so so with missing of image stabilisation.

With such price, more will look for others.

Thats a super SOT u got there. My previous Fonepad Note 6 with 3400mAh also can only hit 4.5hours SOT till 10%.

Btw, can I know where and how much did you get the HTC Powercase? Very hard to find around here and got 1 seller price it at RM255

Got it from a shop Bdot.com at 86, SS15/4B - it costs me RM 240+. Actual official retail at HTC outlets is around RM 280 ( price quoted about 2 months back)

S600 is outdated, if 2499 why don't get the Note 3 / iPhone 5s / Z1 ?

S600 is not that outdated . Of course cannot match S800. Not everyone wants a high performing processor. I agree rm2499 is too high a price for it vs the competition. If not for the discounted price at rm2099 I would not have bought it. To date no regrets n still very happy with the phone n have sold off my Note3 n XZU .
You need to use to appreciate its value. If HTC had priced it at rm2099 it would attract more buyers. The cheapest I could find is in the range rm2250-2300 at lelong n garage sales.

Yes my data always on 24/7. You can achieved similar figures on Note 3 n XZU too.

That aluminum build and speaker is too sweet to resist. The Power Flip case is one of it's kind too, very smart move from HTC.

uncle benny is it so far the best android phablet for u? i wanna wait for the black or red color. y no in yet? >.<

I wont say best as there is no such exist yet. But can say most satisfying over Note3 n XZU.

My XZU last time can barely last, cuz I do lots of movies and gaming.

My wife is enjoying this 1 Max every single moment, got it at RM2238 from aaronac. As for power flip case, apprently even at bdot.com the price has increased up to Rm249. So just closed 1 eye and but it lerrr

Read most reviews from user and 90% was positive especially on the quality, display and battery. I couldn't agree more. 1 Max feels very solid and premium. The sound is just crazy loud, even when compared to HTC One
