QUOTE(Bujal.x @ Nov 21 2013, 08:47 AM) its them who dig their own grave..frankly,i love the design and all the features and i dont mind snapdragon s600 but the price...for a comparison, asus padfone infinity only rm2499..thats is 5" + 10.1" screen (full hd)~ Talking about design, One Max design is based on One Mini and doesn't have the true unibody build like One.

QUOTE(Heinz @ Nov 20 2013, 05:20 PM) Not sure whether the finger print scan thingy is good or bad. At first i5s was the pioneer and now HTC penetrate to the market again only differs the scan thingy was at the back. Fruity was the pioneer for finger print scan..?? Motorola Atrix have that features long time ago .

- Bad finger print design.
- No uni body like One, but follow One Mini design.
- No OIS camera.
- No Beat Audio
and dare HTC sell RM 2,499.00, HTC is really waiting for bankrupt!

Of course... using phone while driving... thats another story lah.

It's useful but One Max fingerprint scanner position is not so right. Your finger will easily smudge the camera lens.

i think htc has the wrong strategy, they are hitting the toe with another big rock. using mid range processor + problematic camera sensor (too many complaint in One thread) + sky rocket high price = dig own grave. I'm looking forward to M8 now. seriously, One Max didnt turn me on at all. the design is exactly like one mini, just a buff up version.

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 21 2013, 09:25 AM) Fruity was the pioneer for finger print scan..?? Motorola Atrix have that features long time ago . Just bcuz apple has it , most ppl will think Apple is a pioneer and the rest of the world copied them . Biasa la . Fingerprint such a common features in japanese 2013 Docomo phones and like u said , Atrix have it 2 years ago . Look at Siri last time when it first came out and then S Voice . Then , fanboys were saying Samsung did it again as well , copying Siri . Little did they realize , vlingo was out in android like in 20110 end but not many knows about it . I still remember using it in my Dell Streak and S1 then .

Just attended the launch at Publika. Phone is indeed very snappy despite S 600 processor only. It has more features than HTC1. Will elaborate further after tests. Price is rm2499 but for today only I paid rm2099 for it. Will post more info over next few days. Phone feels slight heavier than my XZU. Back can removed for simcard n external SDCARD card Will post my impression vs XZU n Note 3

Congratulate to be 1st owner. If RRP is RM 2,099.00 then still quite reasonable, but not the plan RM 2,499.00 price.
