hi guys, recently continued to work out (hopefully, i'll last this time) I've been going to my uni's gym often nowadays but I find that it's hard for me to lift the weights, keep losing my grip and I wouldn't for one, mind the calluses but all the weights are terribly rusty and I doubt it'd be a good thing to have it on direct contact with my skin (or I shouldn't be worried about the rust? you tell me)
Anyway, I'm currently looking for some proper gloves for this.. searched in the forums and notice that most members recommend Harbinger.. are they really that awesome? Most of the dudes in the gym are using Adidas and Nike.. from what I see.. are they any good?'
Thanks

When i start lifting, i searching for the "best" glove to use.
but after few week of trying, i totally give up the glove. i love the feel of lifting with bare hand. lol.
the rusty thing on all the weight? i totally ignore it... nothing to worry about.

Harbinger gloves are IMHO overpriced. Also its leather is made from pig skin lining, so not a good idea if you're muslim. Nike & Adidas are also overpriced, you're paying for the name, not much of the quality. I'm personally wearing some no-name gloves bought for 30 bucks, does the job just nice, no issues.
I've been using gloves for like 80% of my gym years. It minimizes calluses. But now i'm considering for some grip pads instead so i don't get this 'tight' feeling on my upper hands.
