For me, i will not buy 925, feels more less the same to 920 lol..
wait till amber update for 920, then will have nothing to lose against 925..

camera wise i think not much difference.. We got proshot to take care of that department..

I think right now only 520 and 720 worth buying..
920 is old dy..

520 with super price value, compared to similar price range from android device.. 520 is wp8, can play 1080p movie, play games, got gps nav, and since it is running wp8, will eligible to update to wp9 later..

720 price can buy better spec android device, but still u get bigger screen, lightweight wp8, basically 520 on steroid..

920 is worth buying, only after gdr2 and amber arrive malaysia, i believe price oso will drop at that moment..

Lumia 920 had a similar problem as well?

not really. I think mine is better than yours right now,
i thought 925 should be able to extend battery life with amoled screen..

why dont you try set screen brightness to low or medium, turn off auto and sunlight readability, it will help save the battery and reduce heat cos of lesser battery drain.

But 9 hour of light usage is like a standard of 920..
925 should able to reach more than 10 hrs..

my 920 if play youtube and ganes, with wifi like no tomorrow should lasted me 3.5 hrs..
but its not hot..just warm only..

My lumia with wifi on will last around 10 hours, with 10% per hour..
if i off wifi and everything, it will idle and not using much battery...
actually depends on screen on time..

turn on bluetooth, nfc, except gps will have not much effect, they are using power whenever connected only.

gps must be turn off, cos every half hour, the phone will contact microsoft server for location logging in case we lost the phone.

it is true that first few charging cycles really drrain battery very fast as i remember correctly, last time during my first week, i charge three times a day..

now two times a day.. As i use data for whatsapp, wechat, browsing etc..

i have myself a powerbank in case of emergency or holiday.. Kaw kaw usage will last me 4 to 6 days without power source..

I can really tell that the 'more than your eyes can see' effect during low light is toned down.
colors are now less saturated. for the first time I like taking pictures with my 920 sebelum nih biasa biasa aje XD
I got stable shots than ever before! but to do better, we need the Pro Cam apps.
or ProShots. which I don't have. certainly because too lazy to pay apps  laugh.gif

No offence but I think you're better off using a digi cam to capture those moments, rather than using this phone dude.
The video on handphones are suitable for short, brief capture only I think, hence the 16gb storage.  hmm.gif

but i travel light.. And the video quality is outstanding..
the sound surpass digicam microphone..

Hmm normally i would tap on the screen to take pictures. Rarely use the shutter button.

Also, is it me or the battery discharge rate for L925 is quite fast? I turned on 3G network for almost a half a day (7am-12pm), the battery dropped from 100% to nearly 50%. Is this normal?

Any settings that I should know to conserve battery life while using the 3G DATA turned ON of course?

mine 5pm already 9%
lumia 920..
full charge at 7 am
