I'm switching from my 3 year old nokia E72 to lumia series. But, i'm kinds tempted to wait for lumia 1020 for its 41MP camera.
But is 925 really worth it?

So after reading the whole pages of this thread, I think I want to invest in this phone. 1020 has a few issues especially on the shutter lag & all, I still have my DSLR to take those HD pictures no problem on that one.
But I'm curious though, what are the limitations/shortcomings of 925? Can you guys list me some? |

QUOTE(thesun @ Aug 31 2013, 08:04 PM) 16 gb not enough, seriously.. No offence but I think you're better off using a digi cam to capture those moments, rather than using this phone dude. i capture video at 720p, 2 hari sukan ping pong sudah habis.. thats with lumia 920..max for video is 25gb.. bear in mind, ping pong is a short game.. Unlike football The video on handphones are suitable for short, brief capture only I think, hence the 16gb storage. |

Hmm normally i would tap on the screen to take pictures. Rarely use the shutter button.
Also, is it me or the battery discharge rate for L925 is quite fast? I turned on 3G network for almost a half a day (7am-12pm), the battery dropped from 100% to nearly 50%. Is this normal? Any settings that I should know to conserve battery life while using the 3G DATA turned ON of course? |

QUOTE(ChinHong86 @ Sep 16 2013, 12:11 AM) Hi guys, just to check yeah I agree the battery life for L925 is pretty bad when you turn on 3G Data for too long.does any 925 user experience bad batt life? i just got it, and not using it heavily only whatsapp not even internet surfing or facebook the batt life usage is 12.55% per hour help!! Gotta keep those powerbanks/charger ready OR you just turn on & off the 3G Data when needed. So far I use Wifi, save more battery compare to 3G. Other than issue, I think L925 is the best Nokia phone for me yet. |

Any idea what I can't see my mp3 files that I want to download from my PC to 925? Is there any DRM protection mechanism going on?
Anyway to work around this? |

Better wait for the official update release. This is for developers only.
Afraid that your 925 became a brickstone after updating GDR3 now |

How do I kill a running background apps?
No, I'm not talking about the Shutting off running background apps via Settings, but it's something similar to iOS's app where you can kill a running apps by swiping it off the screen. Or WP8 haven't had this feature yet? |

My 925 froze yesterday.
I tried to pressed the power button to rest but to no avail. When I try to call my phone using other phone, the phone wasn't ringing at all. So i've searched via Google & did a hard reset (press Volume Down + Power button together for 10 seconds or more), thank god my phone restarted. Just wondering if you had this issue before? I mean, my 925 kept froze but not really frequent. I suspect it had to do with Whatsapp. |

Is 8.1 update ready for 925?
I kinda don't want to upgrade this YET, because it removes the super awesome FB integration with Windows. What are your experiences after updating your 925 to 8.1? |

But the FB windows integration, they r removed it right?I like the pull down notification as like android or iOS and I did realized that the phone don't heat up as how it used to be. The phone not as hot when I play games with 8.1 now |
