I'm still thinking whether to get the S4 or S4 mini. Even though the S4 is more powerful, I feel its a bit too big for me and the size of the S4 mini is just right. Is there anything really great about the S4 that's worth for me to take it and ignore the size? Don't care about the better camera because the camera on S4 mini is already good enough. Also don't care about those hand gesture features that's available on S4 but not on S4 mini because I heard they're not that useful anyway. Also don't care about the more powerful S4 processor because I don't multitask that often. The bigger S4 screen and pixels also does not interest me.

If you bought a casing for S4, the box should clearly say Samsung Galaxy S4 on the front box unlike the fake box on the right which doesn't mention which phone model. Turning back the box, if the casing is for a Samsung, it should state Samsung's copyright near bottom left, unlike the fake box on the right which has Apple's copyright even though the casing is for an S4. Plus, check out the example phone image for the box on the right. It's clearly shows an iPhone picture. Moving on inside the box, the original one will provide a grey cloth (unseen here) for the screen protector while the fake one is provided with a yellow cloth. Do also notice the screen protectors has different cutouts for the home button at the bottom. The little feet that supports the casing at the back for the original casing is also thicker than the fake one which is almost insignificant. For the S4 casing, there's a little feature between the camera and flash hole which the fake one lacks of. The overall finishing of the original one should be smooth while the fake one looks messy (dried glue appearing at some places, unsmooth surfaces). Do you know how much does it cost here and where can I get it? Anyone else knows a good armor casing for the S4? I'm looking for something light and not bulky. I don't want casings that requires you to flip it open.

Regular Senior Member 1,003 posts Joined: Jan 2003 From: KL	Was planning to get the Sony Smartwatch (I already have the previous version) or Pebble but put it on hold to check out the Gear. Turns out to be a dissapointment. It's damn ugly (compared to Sony and Pebble) and there isn't any new feature that isn't available on other smartwatches (except maybe the camera and mic but who uses those on a watch?). It's also reported that there's a dock to charge the watch and if you don't take the dock with you, you can't charge your watch. But that's only if you don't mind the powerbank connected to your phone all the time when charging. Some people find it a hassle to have the power bank dangling around.

Whats important is I get to expand the memory/transfer files easily using SD card and also replace the battery easily if needed. So it was a no brainer. I just hope I made the right choice.

You wont regret with the 32GB internal memory of HTC vs 16GB internal memory of S4. Please read how many ppl complain S4 only left with 10GB when they got their phones and no space to install 3-4 apps that is above 1GB each. S4 got microSD? what the use where you can only install apps and games at the internal memory..... Not to mention the dual stereo front speakers which S4 dont have. I guess it really depends on what you use the phone for. I only have about 8GB of space to use but since I mostly use my phone to do a bit of browsing, take pics and watch videos (all which are stored in the SD card), internal memory was never a big issue because I don't install big apps like games (I have an ipod touch for that because well, Apple games are much better than Android). No matter how much memory you have there will always come a time when you want more so its safer to go with one with an SD card so your recorded videos or pics won't eat up your internal space. As for speakers, I almost never use them. Prefer earphones.

Regular Senior Member 1,003 posts Joined: Jan 2003 From: KL	I used to have a Galaxy W and the battery only got fat after overcharging for a year. Guess I was lucky it happened much later than usual. It was so fat until cannot cover the back. Threw it away and replaced with S4 after that.
