but is it safe to buy online? if there is a defect or minor aesthetics defect will you still be able to go back to the shop to get a replacement? Is it still sealed?
and if lost in postage will we be covered?

Depends on who you buy from.... As I know most online sellers have their products in original sealed so it should be okay ..
Always check and confirm.. Buying from reputable sellers that have long history is safer...

Else for peace of mind, just walk in.. smile.gif

Hi all s4 sifu, before i buy s4, mind me to ask some questions?
1. is there any problem ? like GPS lock issue, connectivity, lag/hang, easily heat up, etc...
2. the s4 LTE version, the quad core version, enough for a heavy user? because i prefer to have 4G ready and i am a heavy user.
3. should i buy it now, or wait until note 3 out? because i assume s4 price will drop abit hahaha, just want to save money happy.gif"

Thanks in advance for any idea/good advice.  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

1. Nope

2. Good enough

3. It depends.. if you can wait 1 more month then is good to see how the new gen of Note series come out but to get the price of this device down probably you'll first need to wait till Note 3 comes on shore in Malaysia which could be end of September of October .. that's all if Note 3 launch date is at the beginning of September..

If I were you, I will wait since all are soon including new iPhone.. HTC6.. but then this is really personal..

Hi, just wanna seek for some help:
Just bought a new s4 I9500 3 weeks ago, but it keep freeze and auto restart, send to samsung service center few days after bought it, they just update firmware and factory reset. After bring back, camera got line and still auto restart, bring it back for 2nd time, then samsung service center upgrade the OS to 4.2.2 and claim it should solve the problem..but then, still having the same problem, bring it back to service center for 3rd time, they just know factory reset and do nothing.

Try to contact samsung service center HQ and request exchange for new devices, and they wanna me leave the phone for 1 month to let them inspect first.

Any suggestion? really piss off with it.

I guess it could be hardware problem then and it seems that you probably need to send in your phone ....

I'm using I9505 the battery is really good enough for me as compared to S2.. No need to worry at least for my usage with very normal use.. i still have almost 70% after 9hrs in office...

With S2.. I would be around 40% or lower some time..

Exactly

To be honest, usage not much but I am making a comparison within my old S2 and the S4..

I have to say I am satisfied with the S4... I chose I9505 over I9500 is mainly because of the S600 chipset which is more energy efficient... as I need endurance juice more with a balance of great performance

Wah first time hear ppl choose lte version Bcoz of energy efficiency...
*
Haha why not?

I don't really play games but even if I do.. the S600 is already a high-end chipset used in many high-end handset..

Just look back at those era where people was power-crazy on a laptop then after that.. the market focus on energy efficiency.. how to have longer battery life etc... since it is a "mobile" where you need carry along unplugged...

Considering buying from Lazada as they offer at RM204x...

Using credit card won't be charged a further of 2% or 3%..

Hi guys. Not sure this is asked before but I've searched the forum. I9505 version LTE, does the camera has a little lag between clicking the snap button and actually snapping? It's noticeable when comparing to iPhone or note 2. Any fix? Eg. settings, firmware.
*
I am still waiting Samsung to come out a stock rom that can fix this.. The I9500 does have a faster shutter....
