I'm on i9505 and still facing high wakelocks and battery drain for exchange services. Can anyone suggest a possible solution? Tried deleting account, cache and data then re-add account but problem still persist. Cheers!

1.turn off sync, smart tools... and try to engage the battery saver?
2.try to download the betterbatterystat..(send your wakelock shot to us)
n
are u installed any trash apps?
*
1. Sync set to push, all smart apps off and battery saving option on.
2. I'm using Wakelock Detector.
3. I don't have any trash apps installed.

Easy. I disabled all synch. Just press the refresh button when want to get new mails.
*
Don't like to manual sync.

Your s4  email is hotmail?

Try to edit the sync setting. Charge your phone til 90 above . And see if it persists.

Yes I'm using hotmail. Been trying different sync options but still same.

I use hotmail aswell and I am facing exactly this kind of wakelock. I have find no solution and decided to eject the hotmail from my phone for good.

its odd that friend of mine are using gmail and face no such issue.

What I've noticed so far is that when mobile data is weak or no service, the awake time in WLD will be very high. If connected to wifi, still highest wakelock but awake time is low.

One workaround method is to forward hotmail emails to gmail and stop using the stock email app. Use the gmail app only.

Cheers!

Anyone tested Smart Wifi Toggler? Does it work for you?

I've tried it. Good feature but has intermittent problems.
