QUOTE(sya_cd @ Aug 30 2013, 08:32 PM) oo..but not supported means what? cannot use at all? or just wont launch in malaysia? If by not supported u mean just the 4g network i can live with that since it uses the new faster processor right? plus, it's blue colour mang It mean you can only use the 3G network here. Not the 4G. Basically you get a better processot plus different colour. That's all...lolz

QUOTE(sya_cd @ Aug 30 2013, 09:21 PM) that's like u have 4g phone but u can only use 3g. That phone should still be capable of normal lte tbh. Got any source why u said s4 lte-a cannot use normal lte network? I think Uncle Benny already give the link before this. Please check a few post back.

QUOTE(sya_cd @ Aug 30 2013, 09:35 PM) he only gave this link http://asia.cnet.com/just-how-fast-is-lte-a-62221782.htmI already know lte-a is not supported by malaysian telcos, but it just doesnt make sense if the phone wont be able to use the normal lte network. Like i said, it's like a 3g phone not being compatible to use with 2g network Why not you ask the seller for confirmation coz I might be wrong in this matter. Here the link to the sale thread. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2903254

QUOTE(CyberTroop @ Aug 31 2013, 11:58 AM) Hello everybody, I need some advice here. I recently just dropped my 3 month old Galaxy S4, together with my heart. Right now, there is a small crack inside the glass, at the AMOLED touch screen part, the outside glass is completely unharm. My touch screen display is not working anymore. I will need to get it fixed. Unfortunately, I guess Samsung Warranty does not cover accidentally drops. My phone is currently rooted with Cynogen Mod. Should I bring my phone to the Samsung Service Center for repair, I'm afraid to bring it to them because my phone is rooted and will void the warranty if i send to repair there. Or should I bring it to those reputable outside 3rd party repair shops (would this void the warranty?). Really need some advice here fellow s4 users. It's hard for me to go around without a phone. Your phone SME or AP set..? If SME set..sent it to service centre to change your broken LCD as repairing at 3rd party shop will VOID your warranty. Since your phone is on custom rom you need to flash back to full stock rom..TriangleAway to reset binary counter before sending it to service centre.

QUOTE(ahodil @ Aug 31 2013, 08:47 PM) If you still can get it back, then its okay. What if you couldnt get it back, and stuck into bootloops ? GG le Why do you seem so afraid to flash certain custom rom..? - make a Nandroid backup before you flash any custom rom. - if you got problem after flashing (exp: lost imei..etc) all you need to do is restore back your previous Nandroid via CWM.

QUOTE(echoesian @ Sep 1 2013, 10:36 PM) What if we restore back the original firmware before we send the device for warranty ? If you manage to restore back to local stock firmware...with binary counter zero...and official status.., mostly they will accept it. But they still have the right to reject your warranty claim as another hidden binary counter cannot be reset by user. Though they quite lenient in this as long as you done your part above. Just be prepared that in the end..they might still reject your claim. This post has been edited by waveweaver: Sep 1 2013, 11:34 PM

QUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Sep 1 2013, 11:37 PM) yeah... hate Sammy's Exynos not release source code so i get S600 It not about Exynos...it's about Chainfire doesn't use 9500. He use 9505 version. So it easy for him to make his TA and MOP compatible with the LTE version. If you can be kind enough to donate him one 9500..am sure that both apps can be use within a few days..lolz This post has been edited by waveweaver: Sep 1 2013, 11:43 PM
