Hi, just wanna seek for some help:
Just bought a new s4 I9500 3 weeks ago, but it keep freeze and auto restart, send to samsung service center few days after bought it, they just update firmware and factory reset. After bring back, camera got line and still auto restart, bring it back for 2nd time, then samsung service center upgrade the OS to 4.2.2 and claim it should solve the problem..but then, still having the same problem, bring it back to service center for 3rd time, they just know factory reset and do nothing.

Try to contact samsung service center HQ and request exchange for new devices, and they wanna me leave the phone for 1 month to let them inspect first.

Any suggestion? really piss off with it.

I guess it could be hardware problem then and it seems that you probably need to send in your phone ....

PeaceOfMind,

1) Some apps may crash on stock ROM, like mine. Changing ROMs have a chance to fix that.

2) Quad core is still future proof. Snapdragon 600 is not a bad one, although there's a faster clocked variant, Snapdragon 800 which is used for the S4 LTE-A

3) If you're in a hurry then by all means, purchase it. However if you wait for a while more(maybe around a month or less/ more), you can get your hands on the LTE-A(I9506) which offers both 4G and a better performance SoC(System on a Chip) than either I9500(3G) or I9505(4G)

Ok...another question on the spigen neo hybrid case:

It's very hard to dismantle. when i opened the packaging, the frame has been fixed onto the inner layer. so i just fitted my phone into the case. but now, i cant seem to take it out! i've watched those youtubes on neo hybrid, and everyone seems to be able to take out the case so easily.

Mine is fitted very tight...what about other users? And when you take out from the packaging, izit the frame has been fixed onto the inner layer already? Lastly, any tips how to take out this case without damaging my phone?

Thanks for any feedback...

What I meant was that TS might be worried that someone will start a new thread before he does so.

Long time no post here..but I have to share this now

As some of you know, I posted about memory card issues in the last version of the thread (I think =s)..I assumed it was my SanDisk memory card causing problems and here's a recap and update

I had problems with Sandisk Class 10 32Gb before. Occasionally unmounted on its own. Later the card totally cannot be detected on phone and PC. Cannot reformat also.

I have given up on Sandisk. Now I'm using Samsung Class 10. So far so good

depends on you, more phones are coming this Q3~q4 2013 like nexus5? iphone5s,5c? or iphone 6?, note 3, new htc one maxx (dunno name LOL). for me, i bought my s4 on the 2nd week of its official launch as my htc one s had gone crazy haha

for your questions
1 - always check before you pay for your device, and theres always custom rom to tweak your s4  icon_idea.gif
2 - 4G ? better get 2gb~3gb data plan or its not worth it
3 - in the end, its all up to you, like most our sifus said, there are no perfect phones in the world, theres only perfect phone JUST FOR YOU.
*
thanks, is the 4G connectivity in s4 is good enough? sorry i am blind in hardware stuff. Agree on your #3, but i am thinking to save abit money hahaha. s4 screen size is just nice for me smile.gif

i lazy to flash custom rom, because my current phone custom rom still will crash/hang alot, in the end im using stock rom. Your #2, sorry im blind hardware lol.. do u mean s4 LTE version can tahan or use for 2-3 years? #3, i think the future smartphone screen size is more than 5 inches, the max i can accept is 5 inches lor, which s4 is just nice. Btw, what is I9506 ?
