waiting for your finished result. how good are you in detailing model kits? any previous experience? for me, i am still struggling with how to do panel lining.

a poorly done example of panel lining IMO..i dont want to spoilt a Zoids by doing some lousy job like that..

how do you decide which line to draw which line not to draw? actually this is the sole reason i prefer darker colour scheme Zoids. They look good even without panel lining.

for me i built my ultrasaurus last sunday started at 6pm then went for dinner, watch Jacky Wu GuessX3, in between time i built the thingy. finished at around 12am..

i took my time slowly, enjoying the process of building.........'orgasm...X0

yo guys, i spotted a z2 zoidzilla and an incomplete z2 ultrasaurus at fantasy toy just now.

the seller quoted me rm300 on the z2 ultrasaurus and i turned away in split seconds.

yea, incomplete, lost all the parts on the back and the pilots.
but can be restored with njr parts, just that too expensive!

i only did panel lining on my whitz tiger and salamander, i can say that my skills are so so only.

geno breaker only for rm69.90 at fantasy toy, others are so so.

Yeah will start detailing by next week. Right now going to get some sort of tube to hide the connector pieces (like the gas tube ; the one where theres a wire mesh in it) or something like a pvc cloth (which is easier to shape) . Panel lining isnt hard actually (on zoid case) Like the one you show the guy probabbly lazy just get the biggest pen size to fit all condition. By right he should get the small / medium sized pen and carefully do it. Mine still so-so but my sally didnt end up like that (thank god).

As i mentioned before this is my first custom job. kinda sticky but im satisfied with it (it met all the objective that i want it to do -articulated joints! and not turn into some scrap )

edit : oh ya, saw shieldy for 40-50 bucks something at JJ , maybe it'll be my kitty s' friend

yeah, get the shield liger and do another custom for the sake of mankind!

not a big fan of those ligers actually but this version of blade liger BI looks incredibly cool..
