DONE!!!

finished sooner than i expected. total time less than 2 hrs, but fingers hurt. bleed a little. haha. accidents happen, you know those hard / sharp plastic sometimes.

talk bout batteries... do u guys take out the batteries once u done play wif the zoids? i do cos dun wan the batteries get rusty inside the body of the zoids

i take them out.

like my Gordos last time, the battery leak end up spoil the motor.

as for the body size, you compare it with my router la.

this fella i like, but i'm not satisfied with the edges, you know la those things. some more this fella i feel like dismantle and re-spray la.

especially the silver parts.

aww heck the blue parts too.

omg, goldfries, your finished product is so messy. actually not so difficult to get a clean cut. just get yourself a high quality cutter blade and your job will be much easier.



actually the assembly itself is rather easy, it is ensuring smooth edges of the model which takes up most of the time.

for now, i would like to get myself one of those cheapo command wolf to experiment on doing the lining thingy.

vincent i oso use this method for my first zoids.. very slow the progress.. sommore not smooth cos sometimes will cut too deep

my fren teach me on the 2nd zoids.. diagonal cutter cut from the branches.. nail cutter to finish of the remaining.. after tat use nail brusher to brush.. wan sand paper oso can.. then very fast will be smooth liao .. if got some white spot.. use ur finger nails to scracth the spot.. will hilang one hehe

ok, i will try the nail clippers method on my mad thunder.

about the sand paper, wouldn't it spoilt the surface of those hard plastic?

not sure on sand paper.. i use nail brusher wif high speed to brush it... then use my nails to scratch to clear off the white spot if there is any..

of course la. i actually no time wan. but want to do a bit here a bit there. end up the whole thing done. quite fast done despite difficulty = high this is called RUSH WORK. not easy man, mounting those glowing pipes, other slow part is in breaking the part from the frame.

putting them together is the easy part.
