Gark, current Maxis price RM7.14. Yearly dividend 32 cents. Dividend yield would be around 4%. Good buy?
*
See the ANALyst reports

They are paying in excess of earnings

Not sure if it's sustainable, I'm not sure I never researched Maxis in depth

Calling Unker gark tongue.gif

For the sake of non-regulars, put full name lar biggrin.gif

Yea lor, I also regretting switching out from Ponzi Quantum to Select Asia Opp doh.gif
Luckily it's not much, ratio 1/3 Select opp + 2/3 Quantum Ponzi

Can switch half of Select Opp to PGSF, and half to Quantum. Thoughts?

Shoosh.. show you sexy back  tongue.gif
*
Yeah, now I'm slowly building up Pacific Global Stars instead of Hwang Select Asia Opp. If it still remain that way, I might even switch all back to Quantum Ponzi. shakehead.gif

Eh, I thought u wanna dump PGSF before? tongue.gif

Leaving my PGSF as it is since it's doing quite well. Second purpose is to hedge it against OSK GEYF. Still a bit shaky.

If switch out partial of my Select Opp, I don't know how to record my books already (don't know how to record loss)  tongue.gif
*
Are u using my MS Excel worksheet to record? unsure.gif

GEYF is always US+Europe heavy, PGSF will rotate according to Pacific Mutual's markets assessment though it has always been around 2/3 Asia + 1/3 US+Europe. PGSF is "spicier" compared to GEYF. nod.gif

Okay. Let's say 378.87 of AmAsia Pacific. How would you record it? You cannot just delete the whole of row '5' right? Although you are selling 378.87 units, the amount will not be RM235 already. So how would you record it?

Assuming you buying Hwang Select Income, that would be straight forward. You just record like how you buy it.

Edit: Okay. I saw your switch sell column (row 25). So you will record your switch sell in the table itself. RM556.20 is the total proceed of selling the 1,000 units right?
*
Yes. nod.gif

Negative cashflow is purchase
Positive cashflow is sale
Dividends, as u should know by now, does not result in cash flow (e.g. row 18), it only results in additional units

All calculations are by formula, go study it closely and u will see how the profit/(loss) and IRR figures come about icon_idea.gif

For my side, my profit/(loss) ROI and IRR figures are calculated in seperate tabs.

So I headache how to calculate for my IRR figures.

Btw, I don't remember your worksheet looking like that. Much messier than that.
*
Is that an insult or a compliment? tongue.gif

My worksheet has always been that, just that I deleted some data, else u guys will know how much is my portfolio ph34r.gif

My holding of Hwang funds on continuing weakness...past 6-months period, they underperformed Eastspring GEM, Pacific GSF and OSK-UOB GEY. That's why, NEVER assume that past winners will continue its winning streak nod.gif
