I noticed that.

I meant the distribution units (in distribution statement) that you are entitled to. Do they send an email to you the distribution statement?
*
Yes, they will e-mail u when it's credited

If u kanciong, u can do this

1. take ur no. of units
2. see the NET distribution per unit
3. units x distribution amount divide by NAV of the payment date

Pacific GSF
units x RM 0.0194 / NAV price at 9th Oct

I get 9th Oct from Pacific GSF's page

Went to see the recommended portfolio by FSM. The higher the risk of portfolio, the lower the profit and even higher the lost at the moment.

It has always been that way for FSM Malaysia portfolios.

But FSM Singapore, balanced portfolio most profitable icon_rolleyes.gif

Why stock market no feeling on debt ceiling in US? Under normal condition, should have fire sales since US shutdown. Panic sells. Tomorrow is deadline yet no fark given by market.  shocking.gif Manipulation at its finest?

U read the news...the market is VERY CONFIDENT that US politicians will resolve it

Either/both of the following (preferably both):
(1) RM5,000 (so that u can start with a portfolio of 4-5 funds)
(2) Excess cash of RM300-500 per month (for u to top up your funds every month)

My latest portfolio allocation. For equity HSAO (8%), HSAQ (14%), PGSF (14%) and OSK-GEYF (28%). Currently trying to increase my GEYF portion for higher US and Europe exposure. Not planning to top up my PGSF as I'm planning to switch out everything in the near future. FI/Equity 65/35.

Sifu feel free to advice smile.gif

Corrected.

Do advice on corrected portfolio exposure. My target is to increase US/Europe exposure.
*
Actually HSAQ and HSAO is very similar in asset allocation and securities they invested in. HSAQ CAN have a bit exposure to mid-large caps (see their mandate as per prospectus).

Sometimes I compare their fact sheets and annual reports, I doh.gif why the heck am I wasting time investing in HSAO, since PGSF already got exposure to Asian large caps.

My advice, slowly include some GEM exposure... wink.gif

So it's in line with my comment too then. To increase equity portion, slowly increase US/Europe exposure and include some GEM.

Rallied because there is a glimmer of hope to end the shutdown and overcome debt ceiling. Remember market is volatile and would react forcefully to any news. Market has been rallying since Oct 9 in anticipation of the resolution. The question is what happen next after shutdown?

I take hope in this:

hmm.gif looking at the pie chart...may i ask.
the country % allocation is based from the fund allocation or the allocation taking consideration of the % of money in your portfolio?
example, if Pacific Global Star has 16% in US and 10% of your portfolio money is in PGSF
does the pie chart show 16% US or 1.6% US (10% of 16%)?

Pink...what about your pie chart? which method?
*
Unker, ini basic math question tongue.gif

Of cos 16% x 10% = 1.6%

just received the income distribution form and notice that the percentage of non-allowable expenses is very high almost 30%. anyone knows what are all these expenses?
*
Gross Income are investment incomes (profit from sale of shares, dividend incomes, interest incomes etc)
LESS
Expenses (the term "allowable" is a tax term, some expenses are tax-deductible, some are not, I'm not good with tax so I can't name them)
LESS
Tax
=Net Income
