If you want high end LGA1156 ones, i dont think u can find any new ones these days. Second hand market prolly will have though. LGA1156 is very short lived only. Just 1 generation then socket obsollete . Thats Intel for you when AMD is weak. sweat.gif

This is a misleading about that AMD wont change the socket platform.

Lol, mind to tell us is your current rig still run well? If running good why bother to change the major components?

well , i dont think my current specs can play upcoming games such as battlefield 4,assasin creed, gta 5 .. although, my i5 760 is very weak without overclocking which is 2.8ghz . also im planning to replace my ati radeon hd 4650 to a better card for the future games so i think a new mobo would be necessary .

Can upgrade GPU without changing your mobo, as long as it is still working.
Only upgrade CPU when the performance is unable to keep up with the GPU in gameplays.
4650 is quite old to catch up those graphic demanding games.

For below RM400 budget, the best bet will be Sapphire 7770 1GB DDR5 RM359.
Here's a chart to showing its performance:

Asus/Gigabyte/MSI offer 3 yrs warranty, while Sapphire only 2yrs.
Sapphire offer much cheaper price for same models most of the time.

What graphic card you should buy also depends on what monitor are you using and what is your native resolution. Besides that power supply model also important.

1600 X 900 is it?? 480W PSU also must see what model. Means what brand what model ? If cap ayam ones mostly can output only 250Watts of continuous power. If this is the case 7770 confirm cannot use.

Should be able to fit a 7770 then. Must ensure the PSU has a 6pin PCI-E adaptor because that GPU need it to work
