i've always wonder about this, if shanks was that powerful then how could he lost his arm to "wild beast"? somemore "wild beast" only exist in Grand Line how come luffy was there so young?

luffy's safety at all cost ...... all else matters less

One piece is one of my favourite anime.I just watch until nico robin betray to luffy and declare himself as organisation no.9 in the secret party.

If Shanks was Gold Roger nakama, how did he escape from being executed by the World Government?

that's one of the facts yet to be clarified. though it's possible that an agreement was reached with Roger and WG in exchange for his life.

damn...how many more episodes will this going on? I so far just manage to catch up on 150 while I got 280 eps on my DVDR

for the anime, it's going to be another 50-70 episodes before it can catch up with the manga (as of chapter 434). probably another 5 years+ for the manga to end and 7years+ for the anime..

slowly watch the anime cos many references back to old episodes and they don't do much flashback like naruto.. haha

water seven saga is really too long..
