QUOTE(zambrano @ Jan 12 2014, 04:17 PM) The freehold development will be accessible via a 5km interchange, which costs RM150 million. It is approximately 2.5km away from the Bangi interchange on the KL-Seremban stretch of the North South Highway. Work on the interchange will start in mid-2015 and is slated to be completed within 28 months I am requesting clarification on their COO's words that Savanna is scheduled to be completed on 2018/19. |

QUOTE(Kelvin0685 @ Jan 13 2014, 08:22 AM) Bro...if there is any reply please let us know ya... If really extend the completion date....that is cheating potential buyers... Through FB no response, but Mah Sing staff replied my sms query, saying that "their soil test found that the construction works would require longer-than-expected time for completion." Question now for ourselves: Are we still willing to go ahead since the project will be late? |

QUOTE(Kelvin0685 @ Jan 14 2014, 11:05 AM) Maybe for buyer which is for investment purpose, they will don't care the completion date even longer than promised period during launch, but for most of the buyers in this Savanna Executive Suite, I believe most of them are first home buyer and they bought it for own stay, thus definitely this will give a big impact to them and totally affect their plan...thus no matter how Mah Sing should be do something, otherwise how to convince those buyers....promise always an important factor for a developer especially top developer like Mah Sing, or else buyers will lost their reliability....how they are going to support Mah Sing again... Agree, and with some more supply just at opposite - the Bandar Seri Putra by UMLand and upcoming Putri Bangi by IOI, for first house buyers, I don't think they have to stick to this Southville project, since it got problems of developer's reliability, and perhaps, soil safety problem. |

Finally, Mah Sing Facebook page comes out with more detailed response:
"Hi Wong, Thanks for being patient with us. Initially, Savanna was destined to be completed in 36 months as per normal terms in the Schedule H of Ministry of Housing. However, upon completion of soil investigation we discovered that there is a huge rock below surface of substantial amount that requires rock blasting of approximately 6-8 months. We have commenced bore piling at site as we speak so that commencement of structural building shall be expedited.Certain blocks shall be completed earlier than expected with remaining blocks 6 to 12 months later, as such the entire development shall take 48 months to complete. Even though we could not have differing terms of 36, 42 or 48 months in the SPA of the entire development, the 48 months shall be adopted with approval of MOH in due course and we are committed to complete much earlier than expected. We shall commence presigning of SPA very soon with DL/AP approval expected in mid Feb and target completion of entire development is 48 months due in Feb 2018. An official announcement will be made in due course. Thanks for your concerns and if there are any other issues, please do not hesitate to contact us." |

QUOTE(Chun36 @ Jan 21 2014, 05:14 PM) Can we refund 100% as the booking time say otherwise? I PM Mah Sing Facebook page querying the Savanna delayed completion issue. Well unless you can prove that the page is scam, otherwise its explanation should be true and on behalf of Mah Sing Group Berhad. You can easily search the page by typing "Mah Sing" in the search bar.How do we confirmed this message in FB is not scam. It is a joke that management dare to come out to mention in public. All potential buyer will be running away. And, yes now I am asking the FB administrator whether buyer can get 100% refund in this circumstance. Waiting for its response, if any. By the way, to be fair to Mah Sing, at least they provide quite decent response to my query. This post has been edited by wyeekiat: Jan 21 2014, 06:10 PM |

QUOTE(PrincessCG @ Apr 2 2014, 11:18 AM) I want to cancel my booking due to the 4 years of completion & SA told me will penalty for 1K. Anyone get fully refund after cancelled? How is the procedure & person in charge to get fully refund?? Thx QUOTE(Whiteminic @ Apr 2 2014, 12:06 PM) I plan to do the same as well. 4 years are abit too long for me. If they do indeed charge 1K I will file a claim against them Formally write an email to Mr. Suniljit Singh@Sunny(sunny@mahsing.com.my). He is an Assistant Sales Manager of Mah Sing Properties Sdn. Bhd, helped me forwarding my full-refund demanding email to their management for approval. I've got the approval already, but the refund process very slow, now is stuck at their lawyer firm and waiting for further proceeding. |
