Proteins (soy milk, meats) and milk for the bones! Bigger bone mass = more weight + more area for muscle development.
And lots and lots of exercise! Dead weights + cardio but whatever it is...always maintain a balanced diet... dont completely cut off from vegetables and remember to keep ureself well hydrated Good luck man This post has been edited by tyrion4: May 20 2006, 07:26 PM |

QUOTE(asciii @ May 20 2006, 07:02 PM) So you say you eat a lot. It doesn't matter if you're only eating 1 or 2 huge meals a day. You can eat whatever you want, but if you don't time your meals properly, you'll never grow. There's no such thing as a hardgainer, just a person who doesn't eat right. I've trained with people way skinnier than you and they've gained good weight fairly quickly. |

I eat every 3 hours but for bodybuilding purposes. I guess you need to space out your meals evenly. Don't bloody skip breakfast, i cannot keep stressing this enough. It's an extremely unhealthy habit and it's gonna screw up the rest of your day.
I may eat 7-8 times a day, but if i miss breakfast, it doesn't matter how many meals i get in, my lifts still get affected. 3 normal sized meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner. Smaller meals in between lunch and dinner and before bed. When i say eating before bed, i mean something healthy like milk and cod liver oil or some protein, not roti canai or fried rice. That's asking for trouble. That's why you hear shit from many people saying eating before bed will make you fat. It's bullshit, not if you apply it properly. Good luck. |

QUOTE(asciii @ May 20 2006, 08:08 PM) Lurker's giving you the same advice i'm giving you, except he's putting it in a much more abbreviated way. He's saying eat small and frequent meals, which is what i'm trying to tell you too. Lol.You just can't cram in your total caloric intake in 2 big ass meals. The rest of the nutrients will go to waste due to limited absorption rate. |
