Is there a significant difference between 1.3 V/lux and >1.4 V/lux?

I can't decide which camera to buy:

1) Replay XD720 - supposedly 1.3 V/lux

2) Ion Air Pro - >1.4 V/lux

It's hard to find a good night time sample for the Air Pro, so here's another sample, but it's in 720p. The night time scene starts at the 4 minute mark.

Which camera do you think is better for low light?

I want to get a camera for safety when riding my motorcycle, so it's important that I can see number plates on the video. So far I think the Replay XD720 looks better but maybe because the sample video is shot in the city. What's your opinion?
