You can also call Samsung and give them the IMEI to determine whether it is a genuine Samsung or not. They can tell you whether it is an SME or other country set. If they don't find it in their database then it is not a Samsung product.

really wish this deal u had is legit. paid deposit first and the rest later do seems fishy. using postage service i assume? do update how everything goes later. 

I fervently hope I am totally wrong in saying this but in every likelihood, it is a scam. Now your worry is not whether you will be given a cloned unit but whether you will get any at all.

And isn't it a bit late to hope now that it is not a scam? I don't mean to put further unrest onto you but paying a sum first without having anything tangible in hand is a big no no unless it's with proven, reliable and reputable sources. I hope for your sake the seller is no stranger to you.

That in itself will ring the alarm bell for me even louder. Would any company which provides phones for their staff to use and then allows them to sell off and even helping by allowing them to use their bank account for the transactions? Again, this is one time I hope I am proven wrong but sorry, I doubt so.
