QUOTE(RoyBlue @ Aug 2 2013, 10:19 PM) I too work around Damansara Heights - a lot of bikers in my office too. Tried riding to genting and back on friday lunch breaks a few times. Takes the edge off crazy days. aww... c'monMy friend was at the launch of the new line of Honda's - the CB500R/X/F. You'll soon know why the price is at that level... Supersports is 600 usually, Superbike is 1000. Hence, WSBK. 17 liters on fuel tank, but i'm running slightly rich on my fuel. So i get about 160km per tank when the light pops up. spill the beans for us will you |

QUOTE(RoyBlue @ Aug 2 2013, 10:22 PM) Bro, I ride a ZX10R, while it's a nice bike height standard. You really gotta dial in your weight and suspension set up before you unleash this corner carving beauty. Which shop do u normally visit for the setup? N dyno? Wld love to hv some advise on this....I used to flatfoot my bike, but after dialing in the suspension, i'm just tiptoeing the bike. But its worth it when the bike just tips into the corners with so little effort countersteering. Very unfortunately here in a small town called ktn, we don't hv any established bike shop for all that. |

QUOTE(trifty @ Aug 2 2013, 02:08 PM) Eh guys post your full tanks here and see:p litre/RM ..when I firdt got my ride I put in about rm15 of ron95 and it was full.. but dont ask me what was the fuel lvl before cause monsters have no fuel level meters!! Haha My ninja is about 17litres. I dont have the fuel meter aswell so what i usually do is every fulltank i refill ill reset the odometer. Currently im getting RM20 for 210km and the fuel light will stay on ( which will give me about 10km left ).B4 i changed to fullsystem i usually get RM20 for 250-270km. Well this fuel consumption is based on my everyday riding, and im a person who just full throttle all the way. QUOTE(trifty @ Aug 2 2013, 09:17 PM) hm i just checked with my bike shop friend and he said the 13' ninja 250r SE otr is at rm27k.. wah and cbr is at 28k..hm. Your friend kena conned ke ?2013 ninja 250r otr is about rm22k 2013 ninja 250r SE otr is about 23-24k 2010-2012 ninja otr is about rm18k ( while stocks last ) Cbr500 otr is about rm30k |

QUOTE(trifty @ Aug 2 2013, 10:40 PM) I hang out quite a fair bit on the highways (lol!) My biker group now suddenly got Supermoto fever, so all going all out at the elite track (they're trying their very best to influence me too) So i might just get a Pisterpro 450 or a used Duke 690 and go slide with them.Rasta used to be a good hangout spot, but looking to expand my horizons Can't do much now, bike's in the shop for a couple of months. |

QUOTE(qqmeng @ Aug 2 2013, 11:09 PM) Which shop do u normally visit for the setup? N dyno? Wld love to hv some advise on this.... I send to Chia Motor in PJ, under the strict hands of Keith Chia (Ex racer in MSS, well he's returned now at least). Very unfortunately here in a small town called ktn, we don't hv any established bike shop for all that. For Dyno work, used to have problem as i'm rollin on Bazzaz (but now Dann DDM - great guy, has got a set up for Dynoing my bike) Depends on what you wanna do actually, not ONE mech specializes in everything. But as for Suspension setup, Keith is the man to go... drop my name and he'll give you a discount. |

Guys, simple as this. You get what you pay for. Running sportsbikes in Malaysia is not a cheap hobby. There's many things to take into account before going on the saddle.
