QUOTE(lucifah @ Oct 26 2013, 08:58 AM) how bad is the visibility at night with that visor? i find that some riders have to resort to flipping up their visor when riding at night due to visibilty problem (and they get bugs into their eyes  ) want to change my clear visor to something nicer, but i sometimes ride at night... i try riding with the sun visor at night and damn, i can't see a thing  Having problem too with my iridium chrome visor at night. For bell helmets they have this visors called solfx. Its basically clear visor but with a push of a button it changes to smoked. Cost rm500. Ita basically rechargeable solfxThis post has been edited by ImSIEBEL: Oct 27 2013, 07:56 PM

Actually the ninja 250 model 2008-2012 are different engine with the 2013 models. Hence the oil filters are different ( 2013 uses the same as er6 afaik ) and engine oil 2008-2012 uses about 1.8l while the 2013 uses about 2.5l

Just wondering what should he do as this happen to my friends friend.
Guy on er6f cruising on his lane decided to overtake the car infront. Overtake from opposite lane and went back into his lane. Suddenly a car came out from junction and stops infront of him. Couldnt brake intime, crashed into car. Balls hurting couldnt walk. 2 person from car he crashed walked to him said its their fault. Ask rider go hospital settle 1st then make report. Rider agreed. Settle hospital and went make police report. Police straight said its his fault as he was on opposite lane. Accident happen on a mini simpang empat where he crashed into the side of the car. Try to explain he was already on his own lane when the accident happen but police said no. Bike total lost, insurance doesnt want to claim as said his fault. Still have to pay 4 years of bike loan.
Found out, passenger of the car ( drivers boyfriend ) is police officer.
So, what can he do ?

QUOTE(lucifah @ Dec 3 2013, 10:13 AM) 1. install go pro if not, then challenge police decision and bring to court did anyone take any pics of the accident as prove? do you have any witnessess that you can contact to support your claim any tire marks / skid marks on the road to show the trajectory of both vehicle? hm susah case like this since got insider plus: insurance don want to settle? what kind of insurance is that? a third party one? Not sure if got pics. Didnt get any eyewitness contact. Insurance said its his fault and backed by police report, so insurance cant claim total loss. Only option is to scrap the total lost bike. Big issue now is his loan. Took a 6years loan and now only the bike 1 year. So he still has to continue paying

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Dec 23 2014, 10:53 AM) Hey guys, I'm close to 12,000 km service. Is the valve clearance check gonna take a long time to do? Why do so early ? Most bike should take u up to 50k km before doing valve clearence. Or yet only do once ur bike no power/unhealthy. But yea if ur rich then why not. Send to a proper shop to do valve clearence as they might screw ur bike if its not done properly. Not mistaken for inline 4 bike should cost u from rm800-rm1000. Twin cylinder should cost u from 400-500. Time max 2 days
