Susah la mcm ni, ade makhluk macam ni... bagi aku cakap Bahasa Melayu la, baru faham kot..

Byk sgt menda2 yg sebenarnya takde dalam peraturan/undang-undang/pekeliling/ke ape pun dlm kerajaan ni. Menda2 ni sumanya amalan belaka, diperturunkan daripada otai2 yang berpuluh2 tahun keja, yg memulakan suma menda ni. Yang ada dalam kontrak, takleh kawin dalam masa 1-3 tahun dalam kerajaan, setahu aku cuma skim cikgu je, & jugak skim JQAF. Itu mmg ade dlm kontrak. Dlm PTD takde tertulis kat mana2 pun, takleh kawin dalam masa 3 tahun. Aku buat kesimpulan kat sini, tempoh 3 tahun tu diambil berdasarkan kepada tempoh biasanya pegawai2 M41 disahkan dalam perkhidmatan. Dan mmg selama ni cikgu-cikgi takleh pregnant, kawin suma tu, takde sapa nak persoalkan. Cuma dlm awal thn ni ke hujung thn lepas, ade sorg minah ni pegi TV3 bawak isu ni. Baru suma org tau & org2 Kementerian pulak buat2 mcm baru tau.

Skang pasal PTD. Yang menjadi isunya sekarang, yelah suma pegawai PTD kena pegi kursus yang dipanggil DPA. Dalam tempoh DPA ni pun, kalu ko nak kawin ke, nak pregnant kembar ke, takde sapa yg marah. Tapi, kalu pregnant, pegawai tak dibenarkan pegi mengikuti modul luar mcm tentera, bomba etc. Kalu dh takleh buat modul luar, maknanya kena repeat modul tu di DPA yg akan datang. Maknanya di sini, kalu dh kena repeat modul, lambatla dpt DPA, kalu dh lambat dpt DPA, lambatla konfirm. Itu sahaja. Ade budak sidang aku, siap take time off, cuti 2-3 hari dalam masa buat DPA, utk pegi kawin. Tp itu cuma special case shj, jgn cuba2 nak tiru. Nnt takleh kawin, jgn ckp aku yg ajar...

Kalu ade sesapa tak puas hati dgn perkhidmatan kjaan ke, tak puas hati dgn PTD ke, ckp la kat sini. Forum members yg dh berada dlm servis mungkin buleh membantu, atau even buleh tgk kat mana yg silapnya. Selain itu, forum ni jugak bertujuan utk membantu sesapa yg nak tau psl camna nak amik exam ke, nak g interview ke. Kita buleh tolong, jgn risau. Nak hentam pun, silakan la. Sbg org yg dah berada dlm servis, mungkin kitorg lebih tau ape yg terjadik, berbanding org2 yg main dengar2 ckp kawan yg dgr dari kawan sepupu dia ke ape ke. Ataupun daripada org2 yg dok baca blog2 sana sini, pastu pegi bgtau kat suma org mcm dia tau sgt. Jadi, kita kat sini just nak memperbetulkan tanggapan2 yg salah tu. Itu je.

Org bodoh, kalu dilayan, kita pun jadik bodoh. I rest my case.

hi all, is it true that after 2 years of working as PTD, you have to sit for training ala military during the 3rd year for one whole year and not 6 months anymore?

yes padisawah..its call DPA(diploma pengurusan awaM)..U Need to complete all the moduls in order to get the confirmation for ur position..previously ..6 mth rite now extended to 1 year..for the moduls .i think u should ask the seniors bcos the know better..

it is funny to know the fact that PTD can't get married on the 1st 3 years , my neighbor actually my friend joined PTD late last year and she will be married next week ..

This is an English forum. Pls ask Ur questions in English. Oohh.. since Ur BM are proper ones (not rojak BM), I guess we can make an exception.

As for the duration of the DPA course, this is the situation:
The DPA course currently is available only in INTAN Bukit Kiara. INTAN Kiara can only accomodate around 300 DPA students comfortably. My batch (& the other subsequent batches) consist of 370+ ppl, so 2 sidangs have to stay in INTAN Jalan Elmu (next to UM). The current DPA takes 7 months to complete. So, in theory, only one batch can be trained in any given year. Considering the amount of ppl in several intake batches currently in the service, some batch might have to wait 2 years before they can finally attend their DPA course. The idea of having DPA course more than 6 months (9 months actually) was mooted when my batch was in DPA. But then they cancelled it. Why ? Having a 9-month DPA course means all the outdoor modules that currently takes a week will be stretched to 2 weeks. & for OBS, it's gonna be a full 25 days course instead of the current 10 days. That means extra cost to the govt. & some of the depts for the outdoor modules are not prepared to extend their modules to 2 weeks. So, considering the current financial situation, I think the DPA will stick to its current 7 month duration. Dun worry, it's not military style training the whole 7 months, it's just for a week (in hell ).

Other ways of entering the service:
U can straightaway apply to the ministries, all of the ministries have been given the nod to take contract 41 officers. But there's no guarantee of automatic qualification for the permanent service, meaning, U will still have to apply thru the SPA. Maximum contract is 2 years, no guarantee of contract renewal. Depends on Ur performance.

I'm really interested in applying for the PTD post. From what i've read in the forum, all PTD M41 posts are contract positions now rite? Are they willing to accept foreign grads? i seem to hav this perception that they prefer local grads. im a foreign grad btw thats why im asking.

also, for the contract N41 posts for the respective ministries, how will i know if theres a vacancy? Will be be thru the respective ministries website or the SPA website?

I dun think there's such policy. Even in my batch in my current ministry there are several foreign graduates. Just try la.Who knows...

Some ministries will advertise on their own website. The easiest way is to just walk-in to respective ministries' HR dept & submit Ur resume there. This way, U'll stand a better chance, but there's the issue of being hired for a maximum of 2 years la.

tenno was my course mate during the DPA...my advise for those who want to know more about ptd...believe him...or ask another ptd...sure u'll get different answer when ask from other scheme such as cikgu etc...

just got my PAC letter, 3rd july at INTAN Kluang. But its contract PTD.. sigh.. how long this contract? 2 years?

me oso got letter f pac...adoyaii dunno nk p ke x..at d same time daftar master....

my interview is in PAC terengganu on the 3rd of july..
anyone from kl got the same schedule as me?
and maybe want to carpool and "tongtong" gas / toll money?
