As I replied to our dear aspire in the Note 2 thread, our devices are a full blown computer, but a different platform. It may not run Excel etc but there are plenty of other apps that let you do a lot of other things.

See, it is a general purpose programmable computing device, ie a computer. Think of it as a sub-netbook in terms of computing utility.

I see you fail to understand the concept of a computer.

Any educated tom , d*** and harry can tell you a phone is never near a pc in terms of performance . What's the point of this statement ? Increase thread count ?

Most ppl here have used both la I think.. I mean, really used it, not just try a day or two then resell in garage saying "Reason for sell : still prefer iPhone" lol..

And if u have used both for long enough, you will know that Android gives some advantages over iPhone, especially the screen, simply put.  It amazed me how one can live with a screen below 4.5" nowadays.. I only might be going back to iPhone it it released at least 4.7" screen.. Anyhow I still want the feasibility of the Apple environment as I am a permanent Mac user. But I still can't stand how apple restrict iPhone. As a wise user, I opt to Android for the moment.

Understand your frustration.. You know why I don't like Samsung device? Because of Touchwiz suxx!

You go buy HTC One, or nexus 4, then u come back and tell me if they are lag or not.. so many Android devices around, do not draw conclusion based or your Note 2.

I used iPhone so long time also ma, I just sold it 2 months ago, because I'm very satisfied with HTC One.

How smooth iOS are, it still useless to me.

iOS is Dumb OS.

Android is Smart OS.

I not sure how you use your Note II, if you said S III lag, ok acceptable due to memory not enough.

Note II? They is a lot Note II floating around me, none of it is lag, and seldom hang. Maybe once in duration 3 to 4 months.

Note II is not that bad, it is still one of the best Samsung device, I no longer hold Samsung device as I prefer Sony now, I prefer Sony UI and Sony design, but this does not means all Samsung device that bad, and Note II never that bad in term of stability and smoothness.

Don't tell me go try iPhone, all iPhone I try and use before, I know how smooth iOS are, also how dumb iOS are.

nowadays, phone industry move so fast like the PC era in 00s. they race for faster clock speed bigger ram and etc.
now the same goes to phone industry.

note 3 comes with 3gb of ram, my laptop only 4gb nia.. some more is 32bit and usable only 3.2gb. wth, a phone is better than my laptop

with the advent of this crazy proc running on such a small platform, i think it can easily do hdmi out and use a proper monitor to get real multi app usage useful on a larger scale

For me, this time Samsung did it perfectly well.

Note 3 is well balance in everything from spec to design to features.

The new Note 3 will make you wanna use more that S-Pen as it well implement it.

and Finally Samsung back to better design like when they release Note or S II.

The new design look nice and back "fake" leather is awesome welcome design which make the phone look premium.
