Android is using java, which can run many program at once,iOS is using objective c,which is very strict with multitasking and always load one at a time, which gives its smoothness, for windows I do not know, but I installed closed to 200 apps on my n4,really barely noticeable lag
*
Depends on how user manage those apps I can say.

My note I is smoother than some of my friend's S3 with rubbish apps laugh.gif
+ I use greenify to optimize background service

Maybe the apps you install does not hog memory. Some apps are memory resident. Furthermore, you have Nexus 4 which is 2GB RAM.

Well, anyway, 3GB is very welcome. I believe we'll see even less lag issue.

I believe this 3GB RAM speed is faster because of newer gen RAM spec. Correct me if wrong. Also, SSD is faster (someone said this earlier is due to USB3.0 implementation).

So I think Note 3 will be very enjoyable device.
*
I/O speed would be faster

If Samsung uses their newly announced 3GB 20nm RAM then it would be LPDDR3

Galaxy note ii is LPDDR2

wow that's very bad, i think the extra 4 cores took up the space for the LTE chip lol. how about performance wise? as in benchmarks
yea la the gimmick and spen features is the main reason why we go for the note series, i also feel what's the point if we do not have these features, end up with an oversized nexus phone. They were right in trying to optimize the pen usage and make it more user friendly, i admit barely anyone uses the pen after awhile but i hope this will change with the new things they add in.
There a HALO lookalike feature, u can minimize the app then it become a circle like halo then u can drag it all over the place, with more than 1 circle available. Of course it doesn't have notifications like halo, but even now i barely use halo's multi window feature, i wonder why  hmm.gif
think i'll use samsung based roms first, if bored only swap bah, like someone said the main point of a note series is its features and gimmick, but i gotta admit those features are actually useful than s4 features, if u find a use for it in your work and daily life that is.

er....too big for me ah...could be me, could be not, i also forgot  laugh.gif , well probably me, it is quite big but hey, i need to upgrade my phone wei, i wanted s4 but then i dislike it for the lack of new things, but the note is a lot reason for me to jump, especially coming from S2  thumbup.gif  so yea, my hands bigger d, i expect no more 1 handed phone using and 2 hands instead.
nope, its not possible if i use aosp/aospa/aokp based roms.
*

That's just those mini apps like shrinking calculator, s memo, contacts
It doesn't enable a full app. I would prefer HALO to multiwindow

With the 3GB RAM, Note 3 can easily perform that and run many apps at once, not sure why Samsung don't want to do that.
Legal issue? hmm.gif

What issue you have from S4?
I owned 3 Note 2 before, none of them have this serious. Mostly just small chip otherwise it's perfect.
*
I notice this is one of note I white signature issue, doesn't happen on the black version.

How you use? The most terrible I ever seen.
Two of my friend using S II until now still pretty nice.
*
Very standard usage
The peel originated from the charging port then slowly more and more place started to peel.

In fact, it's not peel, it's fading slowly

if the octa core same as S4, then its not efficient at all because battery life is pretty bad with S4 Octa. S4 S600 battery life is a lot better.

However, benchmark show octa faster than S600.
*
The Exynos that Note 3 uses is Exynos 5420.

We haven't see any benchmark on this until now

Around back is a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash. It's set in a textured, leather-effect rear edged in fake stitching. Perhaps stung by the criticism aimed at the cheap-looking glossy plastic of the Galaxy S4 and its ilk, Samsung is obviously going for the premium look of an expensive wallet, and, coupled with the classy metal rim, it actually works.

But don't worry all you vegans out there, it's not real leather. Instead, Samsung has opted for a something we like to refer to as "pleather" – it's a composite material that looks like leather and feels like leather but doesn't quite smell like leather. We don't know for certain but we'd wager it is the same stuff that cheap trainers and football boots are made out of. Either way, Samsung assures us that it is perfectly suitable for vegans and that it also wipes clean very easily. Excellent stuff.

Yes, wipes clean very easily is a good sign biggrin.gif
