Can't be sure, but I recall Samsung ditched the rumors about finger print sensor in Note 3, unless that was just to hide the info and wanted to create some hype towards Note 3

Luckily my ISP came with VPN, able to access Netflix if I subscribed to it.

Also launching at IFA. It will be extremely interesting to see if the stylus is up to snuff, and this may be CHEAPER than the Note 3. Dual SIM will be icing on the cake.

So un_id I agree the XZU is still a good choice, and if you pair it with the QX lens, it should be a great movie/pic creation device.

Of course it should also make most other phones an excellent movie/pic creation device.

IMHO and as I've also stated from post 1 onwards, do not expect anything. It's getting pretty much like a new notebook launch every quarter....just a spec bump, and probably more cloud and social media tie in.

People who've never gotten a Note before may benefit, and those from Note 1 will also benefit. Note 2 users will only see an incremental upgrade, except that now with the increased RAM, some creative virtualization may be usable....

Well of course, Google is about the devs and what you can build with their ecosystem. The fruitco, while its founder was alive, was the epitome of hyperbole during its events.

Samsung never talk on the camera but I am pretty sure the camera is awesome. At least Samsung never waste the capability of S800 (I mean the LTE edition) by putting extra feature to snap 4K video beside the HD video.

Camera - don't put high hope in Sony, Sony release great sensor but till now Sony still not really great in controlling the output. Even the Z1 from Sony, I also worried on it output as Sony really got problem in the camera software development department.

HTC - ya, it is aluminium finish but HTC can't really did it nicely, too many bad QC release everywhere.

Nokia - what for bother a bankrupt company, Microsoft buy it = more no future. Windows Phone still cannot fight with market now.

I believe technically it's the GPU with 4K processing built in, therefore it is the Adreno 330. I suspect the XZU has this capability in the SoC but there is some missing stuff (some hardware) that doesn't allow it to execute.

Before the XZU arrived,  note3 was the clear choice.  Although I won't consider xzu anymore, I will see what comes in the next few weeks. As someone mentioned,  the Alcatel hero can be a contender, although I'm leaning a lot to note3.

Note3 did surprise me.
