QUOTE(Xirality @ Sep 6 2013, 09:00 AM) I suggest you get Snapdragon 800. Capable of UHD recording and LTE band Based on user feedback and review on the S4, the lte version has better smoothness in terms of GPU and slightly better battery life, furthermore more ROM support for lte version. So I believe it will be the same for note 3, furthermore with the SD800 (compared to SD600 in S4) I think the Note 3 will be really butter smooth working together with 3gb ram..

QUOTE(funnyman @ Sep 6 2013, 05:25 PM) hi guys .. any idea whether note 3 comes with the air gestures, motion, air jump, air browse, air call, air view, S Translator .. and without having to use the SPen Can't be sure yet as most of the hands on and video did not mention about it. Some articles mention those air gesture in S4 doesn't present in Note 3. Anyway we have to wait for another 1 to 2 weeks to have a detailed review.

QUOTE(Jmnote @ Sep 6 2013, 09:14 PM) with this S-Pen features ... almost I can skip 910 event already ... I use SNote heavily in my current Note 10.1 for the handwriting recognition function..I really hope that note 3 will further improve the recognition sensitivity.

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Sep 6 2013, 10:19 PM) Real funny. Will only buy phone which are pocketable. XZU is nice but cannot pocket somehow. Actually it still can be pocketable but just that you wont be able to sit comfortably especially with tight jeans and office pants..furthermore you will have a strong fear of breaking it

QUOTE(Xirality @ Sep 6 2013, 11:19 PM) Looks like some kind of professional mic I have the same thoughts..the background seems like something in a studio setup..if it is indeed a mic, will the evolution have something to do with open mic or open voice or active listening like what the moto x has

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 10 2013, 10:59 AM) Fun stuff to do with Google Now? Some may like it. With the hardware of the Note 3, this should be pretty slick. I recall Qualcomm said that they could emulate the Moto X's always listening CPU by updating some firmware for their companion DSP processor. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Although I won't be using the Google Now as what has been demonstrated, however I do hope we can have the active mic function like this which will be extremely useful when you need to set a reminder or make a call or call up the Google Maps (especially since now we have the voice navigation) while you are driving This post has been edited by WiLyi: Sep 10 2013, 11:39 AM

I really don't understand, Note 3 is not even released nor available, yet there are so many bashing, if not because of the faux leather then about the UI.
Some people will buy a device for the hardware sake of future proof, some will buy it for the features and performance, and some will strike a balance in between. If there is a particular device that doesn't suits you then just stay away from it. I don't like i-devices therefore I have never bother to keep track on the news or lurk around the threads for the i-devices, because I don't even care about it.
If someone come and bash this and that I can only come out with 2 reasons, is either they are jealous that their favorite brand doesn't offer what another brand offered. Or the second reason could just be they wanted this device so badly.
Personally I used before HTC, Samsung and even LG and although I prefer HTC Sense UI over the other 2, but the overall performance, usability and features of Samsung beat the rest of it, especially with the Note series. So my advice to those who keep bashing on which device is better than which, is either you stay away from the device that you dislike, or you go and do your research and find a way to resolve the minor issue you have with the device (for god sake, there are plenty of solutions available which is free)
