Hi,
i just bought a external harddisk (seagate) 2.5', 80G..
it works properly in windows --> can read and write.

when i plug it to my iBook, it reads all the content of my harddisk. But i can't copy or save any thing into my external harddisk, which it couldn't write. whenever i want to paste something, or save my document, eventually, a message will pop out saying that "The item blah blah blah could not be moved because my drive cannot be modified." sad.gif

why?
any one can solve this type of problem? ohya, i formatted the harddisk in the shop when i initially bought it, they helped me to format. so, the external harddisk is formatted under "NFTS" not "FAT32".

any thing related? sad.gif

I formatted my external hard drive to HFS+ (cuz i think it's a superior format) and use MacDrive in Windows to write to it.
