hmm.. so you are saying aeon and rhb allow you to loan 10k? because the 5x salary is actually set by BNM. not by the bank. this does not apply to gomen worker though.

erm, im not sure. because they dont put the requirement there.. and i cant found the table of payment for the cimb loan..
as i do some research, the effective interest rate given by cimb is 24% meanwhile rhb easy express only 21%..

Actually don't bother on the Bank Islam - no really helpful. not the staff. because the staff also dunno got such thing or not...

Just go for Alliance Bank - if borrow within 3 years repayment - u get 7.88%

Maybank will be 8% - below rm20k
Ambank will be 8.5% - 9.88%

Just choose which ever is good for you

Maybank let u earn point treats.
Ambank will give u free watch if above 12k
Alliance lower rate if borrow for 3 years.

How i know. i just try n submit.
bank islam - reject. no reason given..buruk
maybank - accept due to fixed income above 3k - but i reject due to low amount
alliance - still considering short of 3k tat i applied (17k)
ambank - reject due to low amount offered

i cant apply any of your recommendation due to short on monthly salary.. my monthly salary is 1600, while the minimum for most bank is 2000...

yeah theres no payment table on9. but its available upon walk in. not sure bout effective interest rate you are talking bout, few years back i borrowed under islamic one for 20k, the interest was 6.88%. perhaps you should walk in first and enquire. its stated on9 the min wage is RM800.
