After some research, i narrow down the option into either getting a branded iwata system (~RM500.00)
user posted image

Or just start with cheapest solution compressor + AB (~RM300.00)

Hei sooyewguan, If not too heavy, mind get one for me? rclxms.gif Pay you back. You can charge me more for your walking fee. he...he... But if too troublesome, forget it. ok.
I can bring back AB if anyone want one, but I am not going back to Malaysia till next year.

Not sure if by airmail would be another good option, afraid of customs might tax u if they open up the box. may be u can find out if AB is tax free like computer parts or not.

Wah got to wait that long. My neck lng liau.  cry.gif Can deliver by airmail but the cost maybe expensive. Maybe expensive than the AB.  sad.gif I think the custom won't tax the item even with the compressor. Cause it sent by individual not company. Second, the price receipt can put it lower if kena tax not that much. Third you can unpack the item, and send it as repair item. So when the person collect the item, he can explain that the item is repair and send it back to here. tongue.gif
tongue.gif, postage is around RM50 from tokyo to malaysia. If you are sure about the customs rules, I had no problem to help u buy that from here.

Sure bro. Thanks in advances.  rclxms.gif But Rm50 postage is kinda cheap. Is it normal postage? That would be a bid dangerous, Anytime can lost when arrive in malaysia. If using those DHL, TNT or Federal xpress is safer. But come with a price. Hei bro, can I choose the model and check it out for me?  rclxm9.gif

Ya, Malaysia post sure got some bad reputation. well can post with better trackable with insurances. already check with Fedex and is around RM240.00 rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Ya, give me a model I try to check for it.

btw, i bought some acrylic paint. i dunno what is the portion between paint and tinner to get a nice output.

How is the noise of the compressor? Can it be run long hour?

Noise level is still acceptable, but never tested how long it would last yet.

The auto off is only applicable if you've got an airtank. And well, without those 2, then its more of classified as a baby compressor, with a limited run time. But still pretty good enough for hobby use. Just don't go and just 'test' on how long it can be switched on continously as that'll risk a burn out smile.gif Best way to find out is to check with the shops, and other ppl who've used the same compressor before.
Hey, when cha coming back to Malaysia, and which part of Malaysia r u from? Might wanna ask a favour, if u can help me get an Iwata AB or not smile.gif The prices that u got the stuff for in Japan is really cheap, especially the Iwata stuff.

may be will be coming back in feb next year. give me a model i try search for the price first.
