Hi, anyone have the experience of the 5 years warranty got void? Mine got void. My warranty is 2+3, 3 years is covered under the Alliance insurance company. The reason of it being void is because one of my service mileage was over by 1000plus km. Did you guys manage to appeal? I tried to appeal, but fail.

Hope that someone can give me some advice.

Thank you.

Hi,how did they notify u on the void warranty?  Its like they can easily give any excuses to void the warranty.
*
No la, it is because I wanted to make a warranty claim. Then after they checked and found that ONE of my service was out of the recommended mileage. So, VOID! sad.gif

Under the 2 + 3 warranty programe, from 3rd year to 5th year, warranty approval is very strict as it is subject to approval by an insurance company whereby profit maximization and loss cutting is key to their business strategy. Looks like there is not much choice but to pay for the repair or replacements from your own pocket.

sad.gif What to do? Just pray hard that no major problem for the coming years lor. Too bad

Hi, recently these few months, I noticed that my car engine sound got louder and more rough (I am not referring to the 'helicopter' sound), especially when I press the pedal to accelerate. It just sounds like an old car engine sound, can hear it very clearly when inside the car. sad.gif

Do any of you guys having this problem? If yes, please share with me how to you solve it? My mileage now is 95k.

Besides, when my car is stopping, I can feel that the vibration is more obvious now, not like last time, I hardly can feel that the car have actually started.

What have you done to rectify this but it did not work?

Spark plugs? Oil? Mounting? ECU mess up? Air filter clogged?

And how do I reply all posts under one post instead of a few different post like the one I am doing now? Sorry. Noob ah.
*
Hmm... seems like a lot to check. Anyway, thanks smile.gif

Engine sound louder might due to timing chain is loosing but no big deal since u need to replace new while 100k km service. Lets monitor again after changed.

Engine vibration might cause of engine mounting rubber is harder now. U can replace new if got budget.
*
I see. Thanks. But I thought only timing belt car need to replace the timing belt? Does timing chain need to be replaced as well?

Guys, I wanted to remove my bodykit, because it looks very ugly now, the paint are peeling off and I also got scratches here and there. Does anyone know where can I go to remove my bodykit? Appreciate if anyone have any contact that can share with me.

Thanks. smile.gif

Very bad condition? Why not just DIY the paint back using touch up paint?
*
Yup, it is very bad condition. It would definitely don't look nice even after touch up, so I decided to take it off once and for all.

Thinking of DIY to take it out by myself, not sure will spoil the car's body or not. hmm.gif

Yeap the Bodykit provider has the foglight. I did mine at ACM whole set bumper+foglights+paint+installation.

All done at ACM. Normally they will have it, or else you can ask them to find for you. Not a problem.

They require 7-10 days to prepare the bumper.
*
Bro, can PM me the contact number? I am thinking to change my bodykit as well.

Thanks.

I think related to Allianz dun want to cover warranty...
So owner claims misleading advertisement, he thought 5 years warranty with KIA but actually 2+3 with Allianz...
*
That's what happened to me as well. sad.gif

So did the owner "win" for this case?

Hi, anyone installed mud flap before? Will it really help to reduce or eliminate the dirt from tyre to the car body? Please advise.

Thanks.

200% will but FIRST your car MUST NOT have bodykit as the side skirt will be blocking the mudflap
*
I see. Haha… I had just removed my Bodykit. So now thinking wanna install the mudflap. Any suggestion where can I buy it? I mean any shops selling forte accessories? Not saying online.

Thanks. wink.gif

Yes, dirt reduced. But take note that you may not able to put on mud flap if you have the body kits installed.
