if the car conditions is good, why not? new car for 2.0sx 6speed was ard 97k... so for 1 year + car, I think the price is quite good. But do you manage to get a new 2.0sx?

There are no more brand new Forte. Stop production already. You will be lucky to find one now.

Cerato replaced Forte.

If you are really interested in Forte then 2nd will be your most likely choice.

But why is the buyer selling a 1 year used car? problem with the car? or got a new car?

There are risks. If i were you, if you can afford, go for the new unit.

I think this could be done.... and check the service book for remarks.

It better to go direct and check or call KIA to check for any warranty claims made for the car before this.

To save all the hassle get a brand new forte     

Forte is a good car and value for money. 

Normally a 2nd hand car price is not inclusive of insurance, road tax and registration fee. Other then those items a buyer will also have to pay for inspection fee for the transfer of ownership. Buyer will have to add it up to get the actual price he/she will paying.   
As for new car the price normally is an "on the road price" which is inclusive of all the above. To make sure do confirm with the SA before buying.

Whether it is worth buying a new or a 2nd hand you'll have to take those things into consideration.

The cheapest runner in town would charge about RM350 for the below tasks:

1) PUSPAKOM-Vehicle Ownership Transfer inspection (which costs RM100 and a whole lotta waiting/queueing time, if u were to go on your own).
2) JPJ Counter for Vehicle Ownership Transfer (but you must provide the runner with the complete Borang A & TM-AB Forms which have gone through the Pesuruhjaya Sumpah (Comm of Oath) office.
