Any suggestions for after market shock absorbers? I'm not looking for those performance absorbers that cost thousands, just something better than the stock ones for a more comfy ride (especially when passing those yellow lines).

If u still on stock tyre, passing the yellow lines will be noisy a bit, i change to new tyre, the sound will be dup dup instead. I also add-on spring buffer to make the suspension less bouncy, before use AMT brand. Now using SpeedMod R-Back brand which is costly than AMT.

I'm using Hankook V12 Ventus.

I actually am considering adding front and rear buffers as well installing stiff rings. But not sure if my absorbers need changing as well, since I've had the stock ones since I boughht the car in 2011. What's the average lifespan of these?

Has anyone here installed the 3M rubber strips for soundproofing? I'm curious as to whether it works to reduce wind noise and tire roar, and also as to where its installed.
