anyone know how to clear a detergent stain (dynamo) - i was driving with a big bottle of dynamo in my boot and the cap cracked, spilled some on the car boot mat..i tried to clean it with water and tissue/cloth - the "blueish" stain is still there..cant seem to get rid of it - any ideas?

If u still on stock tyre, passing the yellow lines will be noisy a bit, i change to new tyre, the sound will be dup dup instead. I also add-on spring buffer to make the suspension less bouncy, before use AMT brand. Now using SpeedMod R-Back brand which is costly than AMT.

Stiff ring is only in the front. Rear still need to use the buffer for low cost n worthy upgrade

Rear cannot even if you want to do it. The stiff ring is not to make your suspension absorbs better. It is to make ur subframe more rigid. Therefore if you feel the necessasity to add front coil buffer then do it. I did it and it is worth.

I've been lurking in the shadows of this thread for a while now..and I'm pleased to announce I'm hoping to get my baby 1.6sx soon!   However as this is my first new car purchase, I am still a little unsure and confused as to when and what I'm supposed to do now while waiting.  Hope my future bros here can enlighten me a lil 

I've placed my booking with my SA in Kuching (yes, I'm East Msian) for 1.6sx metal bronze.  Loan has been pre-approved, but not signed. No deposit paid (SA is a friend of my parent's and he assures me there is no need for any booking fee yet).  Car reg no. not obtained yet(hoping to get it done n over with in days to come).  Car is expected to arrive end of August.  Now I have a few questions/doubt in the back of my head which I hope I can make clear with

1. Altho I kept insisting that I only want the metal bronze(and the SA seems to know which color I meant..well he had a display vehicle to make example of when I was in the showroom), somehow the word "titanium" keeps coming out of his mouth..so I'm abit worried (since forte is phasing out) about getting a mixup in the color of my car!  How do I ensure, without first seeing my car, that it is a metal bronze?  Any documents to prove that?

2. When do I sign the loan agreement? After I get the car? After paying deposit? After seeing the car registration card?  Or any documents which I need to be aware of?  Don't wana risk signing an agreement and eventually being told that metal bronze is no longer in stock!

3. Can car registration number be bought/registered/booked before car arrives?  Shipment is from KL btw.

4. Thinking of whether or not to get tinting done.  SA seems to be able to promise me some form of tinting (cheapo one i believe  But before that, do I really need to get tinting done?  Car will be under the hot, blazing sun most of the time during the day.  How efficient is the stock solar glass on the forte?  Are all windshields & windows solar glass? Any quoted figure for the VLT/IRR/TSER?  Obviously when tinting is done, front windshield will most likely fail JPJ inspections  ..so do I need to risk it?  I don't like the windows being too dark btw..as if I'm doing something dodgy in the car 

5. Something of a personal/subjective question: Should I replace NAZA with K-logo or KIA emblem? Votes???  Personally I prefer, KIA at the back, and K in front...but I would have to buy both sets of emblem...too costly!    haha...

Ur case same with me actually. i just bought last month. whole process took 5 days actually.

1. titanium silver  = Blackish color silver || bright silver = Stainless steel color silver , not sure wat u mean by bronze metal. But only got 3 color to choose white, titanium silver, bright silver.

2. U sign your agreement during taking ur car that day, car arrived with the registration number actually, mine is jpj give number me, i didnt choose number. U pay your deposit when the car arrived at the branch, cheque clear into the bank account, they will only proceed to hand you your car and sign the aggrement on the spot, remember to check everything with the car before sign the vehicle handover acceptance.

3. Yes, if you want choose car Plat no. please do it before they register your name to the car and key into JPJ system, meaning do it the same time u decide to tell the SA u buying the car, they got a list of Plat no. for u to choose.

4. they give u solar tint. its cheepo, correct. Go do smting good, like 3M, LLumar, Vkool, Chameleon, Huper Optik, Rikecool, RhinePro. They mostly JPJ approved. if u on budget go get it from groupon. Else walk in customers usually get normal price quote.

5. I still using NAZA logo actually, if i change also change to KIA logo... reason? K logo is actually a logo for BUS & COACH Company Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Company, Ltd. (King Long) , i dont want to put a bus logo on my forte... ><

I was told to sign the loan agreement before they can proceed to book the car and JPJ registration. You need to sign the loan agreement at the bank, unless the SA can bring it to the SC for you to sign, but im sure you will have to sign loan agreement before SA can proceed to process your car registration for them to be on the safe side in case loan rejected or smthg.

Yea smtimes the SA can help out in the loan agreement signing if you go through the SA.
