does the eps light stays lit on the odo? mine does.

Electric power steering (EPS) system warning light (if equipped)
This warning light illuminates after the ignition key is turned to the ON position and then it will go off when the engine starts.
This light also comes on when the EPS has malfunctioned. If it comes on while driving, have your vehicle inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

2days? second hand car? Is the warranty over? go back to SC and let them pull out the error codes. then will know what's the problem?...worst case, need to change MDPS...est 6K to 7K.

Just to share that new JPJ ruling require road tax to be cancelled before insurance policy of a car can be cancelled. This is affecting cases for trade-in used cars and for NCB transfer to the new car. To cancel the road tax, the owner must produce the original registration card and original road tax disc at any JPJ office.
