Like to share the news that one particular bank has now stopped Hire purchase loan for 8 & 9 years and only doing up to 7 years maximum. They are acting in line with Bank Negara's "Responsible Financial Guideline" to reduce individual debt ratio period.

However, other banks are still not yet affected by this ruling at this point in time, and I am not sure if they might follow suit soon. There is a possibility that Bank Negara may impose higher restrictions in the months to come by imposing a margin ceiling of 80-85% instead of the current 90%. Therefore, those who wish to borrow to the full, my advice is better to lock in your loan now instead of later.

Just to share that new JPJ ruling require road tax to be cancelled before insurance policy of a car can be cancelled. This is affecting cases for trade-in used cars and for NCB transfer to the new car. To cancel the road tax, the owner must produce the original registration card and original road tax disc at any JPJ office.

Forte stock is coming to its tail end....For dealers like me, Forte has been an incredible model and its sales performance has been nothing short of 5 star!!! Kudos to Forte, it has certainly left a long lasting impression to all of us in Malaysia as a model with great value & specs and may it be much sought after this, even in the used-car market in time to come !!!

The latest pre-fitted body kit from factory pictures are as attached. Looks cool too I would say! The rear skirting is only on the side and not an entire piece across the bumper.

No Cerato hatchback for Malaysia.. Very much like Forte, only sedan is available. There is an intention to bring in the Cerato Koup here though, but pricing could be 130K plus....

Just an info for all Kia fans, Naza is launching the new Picanto soon, probably by October. There will be manual and auto versions. Quite well spec but no sunroof and without reverse camera. Push start button and smart key only for the auto version.

Even for the previous Koup model, it was priced at 115K, higher than Forte 2.0 at 97K.

There is a lot of hesitation on Naza's part to bring in the new Kia Carens. For one, the price will be close to Sportage, somewhere around 130K

Even the Cerato 2.0 sedan is now RM118,888, as such, pricing for Carens has to be much higher. At that price, it may not be competitive, looking at the many MPV options available in the market, including re-con models i.e Wish, Estima etc...

Under the 2 + 3 warranty programe, from 3rd year to 5th year, warranty approval is very strict as it is subject to approval by an insurance company whereby profit maximization and loss cutting is key to their business strategy. Looks like there is not much choice but to pay for the repair or replacements from your own pocket.

Bro, any paint shop can repair and repaint for you. There is no need to replace the whole skirting. It should not cost you anything over RM100 in my estimation.

Windscreen is optional. It's not automatically included in the car insurance. You must pay a premium to have the converage. THe premium is 15% of the sum insured. If you insure RM2,000, the premium you need to pay is RM300
