I checked this before after my first service. That time my engine felt heavy and I suspected SC put in too much oil. I found the spec to be 3.8L for 2.0, 3.6L for 1.6.

So when I ask how much they pour into my engine, they say whole bottle of 4L. When I observe them (from service bay) pouring in oil for all Forte, they pour all in, let the oil to drain from the bottle while checking on other things.

So they have poured all 4L into your engine, no left over. Plus, with the supposedly 0.4 L (4-3.6) saving every 10k km service, you need 90k km to get a service without needing to pay for the oil. You are seriously considering that?

First of all, many thanks to Mr Loh for his great service.  Finally I've gotten my Forte 1.6SX..among the last of its batch   Enjoying my ride..no regrets!

However I hope to get some advice from fellow Fortezans here regarding some issues:

1) There is some rattling sound coming from the passenger door behind the driver's seat.  Have yet to determine the exact part that's rattling..  I've come across many complaints of dashboard rattling..but I can't really find any pointers regarding this "rattling" of mine.

2)  On navigation, the radio reception keeps disappearing on and off, especially when nearing/making a turn.  Any way to prevent this?

3)  There is a something that looks like a paint chip on my rear left door   Don't know if it's there from the beginning..anyway what's the best remedial action for it?  Attaching a pic...



4)  Have yet to finish a full tank, but FC seems horrendous at the moment!  100% city drive, 1600cc: now averaging 11-11.5L/100km, but the fuel gauge seems to be dropping disproportionately (feels more than 12-15L/100km!  Is it normal to have such high FC in the beginning? Or is it going to improve after 1st service?  Or am I delusional?

Hope to get some advice from the experts here! 

Just got the warranty letter from KIA too. Relieved that it is 5 years from them and not the (2)+(3) type. Been hearing horror stories about claiming from Allianz

Finally managed to clocked 8L/100km but only if all highway.
Thought gonna be stuck at 12L/100km forever 

I feel my car starting to be shaky at about 150KM/h. Not trying to drive dangerously but wanted to try the car for how far it can reach.

Well, somebody with Vios was tailing me at 130HM/h so I increase the speed a little bit to 160KM/H so that I can quickly get passed of some cars at middle lane and get myself into it. The Vios looks very fast and I think it should be driven at at least 180KM/H at that moment.

Any Vios owner here and had tried that speed before? Will it be unstable when reaching 180KM/H and to be frank I feel totally unsafe when made it to more than 150KM/H with my Forte 1.6.
